If I had at least liked its new aesthetic in the upcoming rework I might have thugged it but ts looks like a mobile game and we have no guarantee itll be any better both strength and bug wise, tms classes have been pretty buggy historically

I was going to say any changes being made ought to be in the patch notes, buuuuut we know that’s just not the case for us 💀 we get sweeping changes that not only aren’t mentioned in patch notes, but also then completely ignored for 4 months and counting lol
So we won’t really know what we will or won’t be getting until it goes live, and then it’s up to us to figure out what is missing or bugged or broken. Then we come here to have our feedback cast into oblivion

The fact that they can put it in TMS and JMS a week apart means they're working in parallel. GMS could certainly be worked on at the same time.
Porting just the Ascent "within two weeks", cleanly separated from everything around it, is actually technically harder.

The chances of them fumbling everything up if they try to implement a placeholder ascent skill for these 5 classes or a detached from revamp ascent skill just for Kanna and Hayato are high.
IMO a temporary buff would make much more sense, but considering the history, it's more likely they'll just leave these 5 classes in limbo for another two months.
I hope they have that miracle efficiency surge, but it's not what we're used to getting...

Looks like we won't.
We got what we got in the patch.
They're going to be fixing some bugs on the 22nd, and then they're all going off for the holidays.
Nothing else will change unless the servers catch on fire.
So the earliest we could theoretically get such a placeholder is like January 8 (the first Thursday after New Year's), at which point it's kind of pointless since the real ascents (or, more likely, the full revamp) come just 4 weeks later.

i cannot 100% confirm this but i found that My Haku summon (which should last for ~8 minutes) is also getting cancelled in some boss transitions, as i have my haku on my buff sequence for 2 min burst it should theoretically never be able to run out in a boss but i often find myself having to press it anyways.

Probably because it's questionable to arbitrarily leave five classes out of a major feature like the Ascent skills...
They made the destiny liberation missions possible for many players, but if you were "lucky" enough to be one of those five classes, you'll be 2 to 4 months behind everyone else.
