The only intel one that we know works for nw specific is 13900k 14900k are the ones that work the others i have seen complains about in the past 2 years

i have done some testing in muto
am steady 200+ without bats on and +- drops to 175 max if attking with quint and janus procs
once bats are turned on the steady fps drops right away to around 180 and is able to dip down to 100+- if both dusk / bats procs

in talahart ( 40 mobs cap ) its 330-300 steady drops to 275 with bats on

going above the 40 mobs cap u will drop way harder then normaly ( wich we knew of the AI rework they have done on bats wich will cause a way way bigger drop then just the volume of mobs that are present )

so this could be something with there smart AI function confliting being turned on on there side without u being able to turn off ingame wise even tho its not turned on ( wich is the case with nw bats aswell wich have cause people mass issues with multiple targets ever they introduced it )

Yea grinding without bats it's playable again. But I normally sit around 250 fps in Arteria but once dusk and bats proc I am dropping to 30 sometimes 15 when I try to loot. Angler Company wasn't playable.

^^ this seems to be a smart AI bug that was caused with the maintance the more u gonna think about since both bats / smart AI has the same function in the way they function 1 is forced the other one u could turn off untill it bugs out and just cause it to happen not matter what

Yeah turning off hyper threading was the only thing that made a difference for me otherwise its barely being able to walk in town and completely frozen on mob maps

i am seeing a future for the game: one day after an update, maybe next year, there is a similar bug like this time, and they try to solve the bug which causes other bugs and they just can't make it work. the dev team emotionally crash and delete the game and run.

This is basically going to be the way the game goes for the foreseeable future. They don’t have a test server, so all their patches are broken. They do a bunch of maintenance to fix what beta testers (us) see, and break something else. Repeat.

a bug is like a broken piece in a machine. instead of replacing the piece, they keep the fail piece in the machine, and put in additional temporary piece to make it barely run.

I would guess that the team understands the temp patch from the last maintenance would result in the issue, but they had to do that to resolve other issues until they get better fixes. They just keep silent because they know that patch might break performance.

Hey... I don't know what I did right but the game seems to be working fine for me now. I went into BIOs and disabled all E cores left 5 P cores active, I even turned back Hyper Threading, I can grind just fine now. Even in Cernium when it was a huge issue for me.

well ya thats the issue its the impletation of smart AI there could be other stuff added we dont know off and since it effects people preformance it could be something that went wrong during the maintance that caused a function of something smart AI related for your cpu or so that they only have controll over

i checked out the smart AI function its a 10% fps boost me

i cant seem to drop my fps below the 200 once mob spawn having it turned off it was able to drop to 175 and even hit 150 mark

Since turning off hyperthreadin on my 13700k thinks are good. BUT on one of the final stage of high mountain if I use any summons I go to 1 fps. Hopefully they fix this

Before ME update, when mobbing, the CPU was only around 60-70 degrees Celsius.

And now, 2 logical core cpu are 100% with 5GHz. Cpu ~90 Celsius

The problem of dropping fps/freeze is because they did something to cause problems with the Intel CPU. They only reduced the problem but did not fix it completely. My 2 logical CPU cores are still at 100% CPU.
