We waited 26 hours for the game to come back up only to be unable to play it. And on top of that they've not even acknowledge the problem exist. It's been another 36 hours since. I will say I had a massive burst of lag. That took awhile HT is disabled. So I was waiting for it crash and dc. Still taking awhile I decided to open task manager as I am playing in window mode. Okay, so potential workaround least this sort of worked for me. Play on Window mode, when the lag happens. open task manager (you can just right click taskbar to bring it up) When its up click on it then give it a few secs before going back to Maple and it should unlag itself. Its not a perfect workaround since you may need to do it multiple times every few mins. But eventually it sorta works itself out.

This bug doesnt seem to be related to Computer strength.
Just watched MS crash while my PC wasnt sweating.

If I have abilities that summon mobs and/or effects, my FPS drops, if there are too many NPCs in an area, there is a pocket of them that 'Stole my FPS' and i dont get more than 1Frame/10seconds until i kill them.
As a Night Walker, I cannot use my clones or Bats, as this rampantly crashes the game, so i need to sac my damage in order to stay connected.

same with my new Mercedes, i wish I could play her, but if i summon too many fairies or use my background changing hyper skill, i lag into oblivious

All the while my PC is confused that Maplestory does this crash to itself. No spike in GPU/CPU anywhere, Maplestory has lost some of its ability to function as a program and reinstallation is not helping either.

And thats 16855 on Steam not including the nexon launcher.
However some users wont be in here to report a bug and go straight into Reddit. So we are looking arounmd 500 maybe alittle more effected by this.
Anyways we are the minorities, Nexon wont give 1cent to us, since theres a TEMP FIX even though it doesnt work for all users.
The community managers here have only responded once, we can only hope they address something on the next weekly maintenance but even thats a stretch since its doesnt effect all users.

Yeah the first few days after that emergency maintenance. I would get fps drops to like 20 every few maps I entered and I fixed it by alt tabbing out each time. But after playing today it hasn’t happened to me once

assuming this problem arose because they touched something when attempting to fix the potion dup issue during the emergency maint, but due to high pressure on time limit they figured a "temporary solution" which led to this issue,
with this assumption our best bet is that they take their time in these few days and figure some real solution. So they can revert the temporary change and this problem will resolve itself.

Ive never had maple issues in the 18 years or so I've played
