You guys can clutch kick in ets 2
Example, rev stable at around 2000-2300 rpm in neutral and shift up on go
or with clutch key pressed and revving in first, and release it on go. Way faster launch than just starting from first or burnout.

Use the diff lock if the drag is flat or downhill, uphill will spin you out on slightest angle change.

Any engine you choose make sure the most time you spend in a gear is in that engines Max torque rpm range, +500-800rpm so you start at max torque range in next gear, you can see torque rpm range in engine description.
All the cabin dashboard rpm meter have colored range of Max torque, but it does not change the color range if you put another truck engine, so you gotta know it.
Red color obviously being the lowest torque but highest speed in that gear.

Don't take the man Efficient line engines because they dont have a max torque range, max torque only when you're at 980 rpm

6x4 has the big advantage of having way better grip, I tried a 730hp/6 speed on a small Scania in 4x2, you go fast, sure, but you have absolutely no grip, any curve and/or braking action will block the wheels
