That exit is extremely hard for long trailers, longest low bed / low loader is impossible unless you have the shorter versions with wheels near the cabin

To get your own trailer with the TruckersMP banner on the side, you need to take a job with your own trailer.

If you then take a job from the Cargo Market with that trailer, delivering supplies, then you will get the banner :)

To ensure it definitely works on your trailer, try taking a curtainsider trailer of your own

Its basically impossible to do any delivery in Sim 2; You either get rammed by some asshole after you sat for 30 minutes queueing, and has to call tow service, alternatively you'd be stuck in traffic so long your delivery actually times up.

The queue extend all the way to the city, and you literally need IRL an hour to get even close provided you miraculously did not get flipped over by some asshole

What I'd like to know is why the ghost mode doesn't kick in for some reason, I'm sure the devs enable it as soon as they connect, wouldn't make sense for the ghost mode to enable AFTER everything is loaded in.

When Ghost Mode is activated, you're already placed on a map, other players can already see you.

It is complicated.

I don't think we are synchronising the game state 1 to 1 (it is very complicated to sync a 1 to 1 state), so if you don't see anyone on the screen, you will not be bound to any collision detection. Other player will be bound to it because they are influenced by your collision box.

I can imagine, I don't know enough how the client/server synchronisation works with TMP to understand but surely it would be possible to inform the server process that a new client is about to spawn and immediately enable non collision, before the vehicle is permitted to move or to influence other vehicules.

I am not aware of exact details on how the system works, unfortunately.

It is not an issue of a ghost mode, imo. It is a problem of detecting the exact amount of time this mode should be engaged.

The problem, IMO, is that too many people don't care. I always try to leave the vehicle outside of any way and if possible, inside a NCZ before leaving the game. And when I join the server again, I'll wait until the Ghost Mode has finished before even starting my truck. But... That's just me...

The problem exists when your ghost mode is being disengaged too soon before everyone in the area is loaded on your screen.

i've seen reviews on some forums that say that the xg+ dashboard isn't the best

I think it's because there was lots of "dangerous" situations in real life - people from other countries tried to go to UK without "checking their passports" 4-5 years ago. Road to Duisburg is random I think.
