Join TruckersMP via TMP launcher. Login via TMP (The information you have put, while register your account)
Choose a server. (Which can be named Simulation, ProMods, Arcade). Then you need to join the event server, which is likely to be named "January official convoy" or something like that. Choose your profile and find the city, which are planned as start.

Just like with any convoy event, you simply need to be on the right server at the right time. For this particular event, the information is found at: https://truckersmp.com/events/26945
And while you can register on the website, that's not required really, the feature is there to give organizers an estimate how many people plan / consider to attend.

And yes, it's assumed you do play TruckersMP and not just ATS singleplayer 🙂

#announcements had a post on the 21st about the event on the 25th. Less than one weeks notice for it happening. Just saying posts like that could do whit a bit more notice as some stuff isn't posted well enough or just gets missed with other stuff being added into channels.

ATS has less events anyway, most players dream for organised events to take place but if it was as organised as ETS2 maybe we could have more time to prepare for things.

I’ve been a Patron supporter several times, but currently I’m not, I have 2 questions

1. will I be able to attend the event as long as I subscribe to Patreon before I join the event? (You don’t have to be subscribed for X amount of time?)

2. on average how many people normally attend these events? I’m hoping it is a lot less than the normal events you do where there are just so many people the lag at the start is unbearable.

1. Not a Patron yet, but want to participate? It is not too late, make sure you become one of our Patrons before the 14th of February 2025! No, you do not have to be subscribed for X amount of time, but have to subscribe before the 14th February to be able to participate.

2. Roughly 150-300 on average. It's far less than our official events, which is only logical. So yeah, you cannot really compare it to any of the events we host.

Lag will depends on how many players that take part, how your pc configurations is, etc.

So, it will be lag of hell and it wont be lag of hell, like Duisburg or any population cities in TruckersMP.

You will experience some fps drop but not as bad those major cities. If it is done in the same as other convoys recently it will be in groups of people to hopefully control the flow of traffic better so the it may, not effect the fps as much if they do.

Hey!

You can take any truck you like; however, we would appreciate a more powerful truck so that you can keep up with the rest of the convoy.

As for the trailer, you can haul any trailer except double trailers, triple trailers, HCT trailers, and heavy haul configurations, as they are prohibited.

In terms of lag, you shouldn't have much of an issue except for the departure and destination cities. At these you may experience some lag, depending on how many players participate and how powerful your own setup is.

If the convoy is on an event server, then you can't use doubles, triples, HCTs, and heavy haul configs.

Then again, for any convoy, I'd suggest a config that's suited for high speed so you can keep up.

i saw like a solid 15 cars flip over trying to exit before they added the barrier and i was there for like 10 minutes
