When I run into the same issue as you, I just switch nodes. Trying a few different ones always fixes it. Or you can try turning off your accelerator, run the game without any acceleration, and see if you can get in.

okay so all other trucks in the game are "HGVs", or heavy goods vehicles - designed to carry lots of stuff over long distance
the XD is moreso an LGV or MGV (either light goods vehicle or medium goods vehicle) - can do the same but tend to be used for shorter trips and lighter loads, with more stops in between

in most cases an LGV or MGV is a rigid - one chassis for the cab and cargo area

and most HGVs are tractor unit + trailer (like in-game)
