SCS never said they're removing the road, but the map will be substantially remade so the road may indeed go away.

HI All, Canuck Dawg here coming out of Ontario, Canada. Been trucking on both ATS and ETS2 for 2 or 3 years, recently upgraded (my opinion) from my G29 setup to the Hori Trucking System for a much better realistic truckin' feeling. I have always run Solo with no VTC etc till early this year. So, learned a lot personally from that including convoys. I am now with a different VTC and they use TruckersMP sometimes. So time for me to get familiar with that. I do like how there are events going on all the time and all over the world. I do plan on signing up for some others from time to time. Looking forward to getting good support when I need it, learning more from that and sharing the knowledge when the next newbie comes along. Keep the rubber side down friends. Outside view you'll always get more than inside view as it ain't rendering the interior. The game is very performance limited as it is running on a very old game engine since 2012

yeah theres tutorials and guides all over the internet and presumably on tmp as well, just gotta find the right people

heavily dependent on what types of cargo you often wanna carry, light stuff will want a 4x2 chassis, mix of everything is usually 6x2 (any variant works too), heavy and super heavy lean towards 6x4 or 8x4 configs
biggest engine you can get usually doesnt hurt too much but this is also mainly towards heavy stuff
6, 12 or 16 gears (if supported by the truck), i usually prefer 12 as i think 16 is a bit obnoxious but because i drive a 4x2 a lot now i use a 6 speed gearbox
(but really you can customise your mercedes benz anyway you like)

Heart me out...we should retire C-D. I found a better road perfectly made for TMP. Duisburg to "Euro Acres" between Groningen and Amsterdam. We have a Boat instead of the old train and a tight road. This is MADE FOR TMP.
