Because you can only see players that are detected close to you, I think the hard limit is around 800 to 850m around you (real scale, not the 1 in 19 scale we have in the game), in other words, players you have when you open your player list using the "TAB" key

Check on the the top right that the word "Offline" isn't there

I highly recommend Iberia, the north can be annoying due to the toll booths you have to stop at, just like France, but the south has auto tolls you can drive at top speed, also the speed limits are nice fast too.

I actually forget how the standard map looks due to using promods but it is as nice as another
