The profile got caught up in a pretty old bug where the economy on your profile would skip forward because of time moving forward in tmp. It's ok to use money mods in singleplayer and then use it in TMP too though, if you want to^^

It doesnt force the update on you. it only forces it if you have automatic updates on in steam or start the game over Steam (in singleplayers)
If you put the update settings for ETS2 in steam to anythign else than "Always keep the game up to date" then it wont update automatically when you start it over TMP
