The C-D route is easy, it's the player base that isn't lol. I have about 1800 hours combined and still avoid that route.

yea Ive noticed the busiest city on the ATS server is usually Vegas, often between 5 and 10 players

People meet up there as it is one of the biggest parking lots within standard game. I've seen meet ups in Bellingham at the test track and south Texas at the drag strip plenty of times.

Personally I don't see the point in paying for DLC and not using it. I prefer using Promods on both games for longer jobs, but even then most people prefer Kirkness and the Quarry on there.

I'd probably go with one that boosts it, not just gives millions. Check the info in each, that way you can buy a good truck, a few garages and maybe a truck for a worker or 2 then just build up naturally or it might take away a lot from what the game is and get bored of it quick.

If you are talking about the livery of their trucks/trailers yes mostly do have they're own livery textures but some or most vtcs require you to have their vtc livery on your truck/trailers when doing job deliveries
