That would because the area you were picking up from normally wouldn't support a long trailer as that, I usually only tend to go with companies in certain cities or countries that have big enough spaces for big trailers.

I usually tend to haul long trailers here and there in ATS (American Truck Simulator), mostly save edited trailers.
