You will need to get west balkans after the 1.50 update but for now all maps are needed apart from that

It is very much worth it as you can pay a dollar for a fast download or get it free but that takes about 45 minutes for all 9 files. By that I mean if you have all dlc maps from steam apart from currently west balkans it is worth the additional map content

found this volvo chassis mod with all kinds of bullshet chassis and after some decisions it went down to these 2 for me and idk which to choose
the 10x4 taglift has a bit shorter wheel base and i think can save fuel a bit more & have less tire wear & axle lifting is fun
but the 10x10 is stonk (can accel fast and climb and stuff cuz 10x10)
so could anyone give me any suggestion about dis?

If i was watching the right videos then both actually has pretty much the same turn radius since the rearest wheels of both are steerable

If that really is the case then the only differences are tire & axle wear, fuel efficiency, and uh power

And probably repair/maintenance cost but idk how the author set it in the mod

Not entirely sure tho since the base game doesn't have any nonlift steerable rear wheel and i still haven't bought the mod chassis to test it yet

I wonder if the "shorter effective wheel base" is because the game doesn't count the lifted rear axle into the length regardless of it being steerable or not, or because something else

Well you can use a plugin from Insanux or put the eninge from the Scania R 2009 or Streamline in it as a save edit.

Step 2. Start ETS2 and Activate it in the mod section
Step 3. There is a mod in the Internet where you have an Invisible Trailer. You can Attach it to the Sprinter and you can deliver food or smth like this

You can search for a sound mod on YouTube. For example Scania V8 from Kriechbaum. In most videos there is a download link, you click on it and download it. In most cases you will then receive a .scs file. You put them in your mod folder under Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mods

I'm probably not the one whose answer you're waiting for and haven't tried any non-truck mod yet but, what will happen depends on how incompatible the mod is to 1.50 i think
If you're really lucky it's enough to the point of playable then all's good, tho i don't think that'd be the case, considering some truck mods i was using had color issues (otherwise still playable)
If not then, well it can range from "still playable but with lots of issues" to "game crash on start"

Uh i think that's a different thing
The "force quit job then one free quick travel" thing happens when there's a certain kind of game content change and you load a save prior to that change (like map change)

If the mod you activates have map change or maybe cargo change idk then upon loading an "old" save, it'll force quit any current job and tell u to pick a city to teleport there for free

I found the solution to my problem myself - because as you can see, some people here have no experience with rendering frames via the SCS engine XD - in config.cfg, turn off vsync and extend the frame length from the default value "20" to e.g. "60" or "120 "depends on the strength of these lags..

I know about it, but when I saw some people in Calais who wrote that with 100 people they had 25-30 fps, I laughed so much XD

I have more fps with a 2017 card than they do with a 2023-2024 card XD

but it's the fault of ets2 optimization

If they optimized the game code like I did, decoding SCS files and changing the layers of the game code, they would also have more fps, probably 3x more - because all you need to do is throw out 7 lines of code and the fps will go up 😉

and the game code that I changed is related to global lighting, probably programming errors or developer's oversight

that the SCS engine is too old and the codes are too long for such an old engine, looking deep into the game engine code..

If they made these codes, e.g. global illumination, lamps, etc., at least a little shorter, the fps would increase significantly for both old and new computers.

tried making a powered axle of a truck chassis to be liftable, and fsr if i turn off the game while said axle is lifted, when i restart the game, that axle always get powered even while lifted, and also the auto gear sequencing gets "broken" (always use the higher gear even at lower speed)

you will, but usually it boost the money you get from jobs so you have to do jobs in singleplayer with the mod to get the money

once you change from sp to tmp, it saves

or you could save edit but that's too complicated when there's easier ways if you're not used to save editing

Just be careful and read up on what they do, some will boost job payouts by a small percentage with no experience so they work well if you just want that boost to buy a good truck straight away.
Others will add millions and give you a huge jump in experience to levels over 100, it all depends if you want to get the full game experience with extra money or don't care about any of it and just unlock everything to start.

Graphics Reshade is commonly used. Grimes seasonal mods are free but only current season works on TMP.

I have a 3060 and seems to have no problem on other games with graphics mods, usually about 70fps when running them. I tend to use map mods more than graphics
