for short distance and regional work, these trim levels are fine, but for long haulage it really lacks, and oh, forgot to say they are limited to 81 kmh

Yeah as you say for short routes they seem fine.

And actually ours arent really limited but the company have put like a "limit" on 83 on all of our trucks in the fleet system meaning that they register overspeed in the systems if we drive above that. But that has to do with that we get a bonus each month if we keep our driving score above a certain percentage so I ain't complaining, usually just put my cruise control on 82

oh, we dont get a bonus for driving fuel efficient, not that we can drive un efficient since all the trucks are stuck in eco-mode

and whats funny is, the dafs that say 440 on the side, they put one on the roller bank, and because of that they are stuck in eco mode it had 350 hp at the wheels

The best Mega Carrier I have seen around has to be JB Hunt. The people I talk to seem on average happier there then anywhere else. Get 2 years in and then go anywhere your heart takes you.

The mega carrier route is the easiest way into the trucking industry, but it has a lot of drawbacks. If you go this route, you will not make money in the first year, and you will miss holidays and special events. But after a year or 2, the money starts flowing in, you find a company that can get you home, and you will be happy if this is something you want to do.
