The fine for exceeding the working time is 5 euros, and you still have to fight to get a fine from the tachograph.

It loads cement with a silo so the load is around 26 to 27 tones the tires are brand new michelins and its driving at around 85/90kmh mostly on the highway

but if its a newer truck, even a 2019 expect it to do 3.5 km/l

The problem with the trailers are that the trailer body is built in a weird way so the steel beams under the trailer starts like going downwards too close to the kingpin thus causing these horrible trailers to yeet your top wheel covers on the rear axle if you're unlucky

Happened to me before, thats why I've now moved the 5th wheel all the way back to avoid that. But if they could just build proper trailers to begin with that wouldn't be necessary

Yeah ours are quite close as well but when we hook up SOR trailers we got plenty of space at the front of the trailer and the fenders and Krone is a bit tighter squeeze and Schmitz is really close but the steel beams on those 2 brands are straight all the way back basically so thus not causing this issue

Also the I dunno what its called but the place where they hook on the chains on the trailers during harsh ferry crossings etc on Schmitz are mounted on the legs of the trailer where as on SOR they are mounted in front of them hanging dangling down which causes them to smash into the rear of the trucks and the battery compartment etc....

Same thing with the fishwater runoff tanks we have on the back, they're made of thin aluminium meaning that they're weak on the edges and thus the chemicals they use to wash them after unloading has eaten its way through most of the edges thus causing the tanks themselves to have more holes than a Swiss cheese...

Krone trailers are so much better in every way

And nah there's no box in front of the landing gear can be the shadows or something causing it to look like it

Well salmon goop doesnt really smell

Nor would it float around inside the trailer cuz no box trailer is built to hold liquids, it would start to leak out

Dunno about that. But many years ago, I worked in a warehouse, where we washed fishboxes. By the time, we got to them, they were plenty smelly.

And thats why we have to have the tanks because its illegal and "so dangerous" if some fish goop leaks out apparently

Yeah i mean it depends on the fish, salmon isnt smelly while white fish is such as cod and so on

And obviously it depends on what the temp those boxes had prior to you getting them and so on

They typically sit in the parking lot for a day or two .. no cooling. But inside the trailer.

Sure the salmon goop does not smell when its fresh, but Ive had trailers where they forget to empty the tanks in Oslo in the summertime where as they then get sent back up in the warm weather up here with the tanks still full and then i can assure you that after a week of heat it smells like death
