If i have to go to a brewery, we only unload the trailer for them and then the rest goes to the bottling plant
Its just pure ethanol
UN 1170
Very
right
i may look into it for more money but yeah idk yet
if this company gives me license gotta stay there a few years i bet
Really the only disadvantage i have is that the police might stop me more often than others
And they really inspect the truck throughout
Well last month i was stopped 3 times
bruh :D
Its even more fun when they dont know what they are supposed to be inspecting
Asking me to show safety equipment used only for explosives transports
Thankfully its just one type of liquid so theres not much to tell and show them
Unlike some other trucks in our company
multi chambers ?
:D
I might do 1-2 trips to Germany and the Baltics next year
Yep
The only issue with driving the same stuff everyday to the same place is that if something unusual happens, it might cause some issues for you
yes
I once had to transport some different type of ethanol to a different bottling plant, i had to wait like 2 hours for someone to answer the phone
Since i had no idea where to go due to lack of instructions
Really frustrating when someone starts talking trash about you, thankfully my boss immediately handled it
Typical
yes
very hate that
especially on a friday
when your trying to be done on time as your going over for dinner always on fridays

Trucks look so beautiful
I probably will forget the once its really 1st of january 2024.
But Happy new year best TMP chat
U 2
I'm going to do my ADR once i've passed my C+E in the new year
mainly just to get the CPC hours out of it
why are trucks in america very different to european trucks? like they are longer
their trucks are free from length restrictions
european regs are heavy
their tractor units are more livable in size too because they can spend way longer away from home
the road networks are completely different over there too, they have so much space. Imagine trying to drive an American truck in London for example
nah
we got people in europe etc who live in truck for months too
and just because american trucks are big doesnt mean theyre good
yeah I know, and I never said they were good
I think about half of the truckers in america are owner operators
i'll be giving tramping a go thats for sure anyway
I'd love to be able to drive across europe
uhh i mean europe and usa are roughly the same
ok
i thought it was a gaming setup for a sec
Nope, just a brand new chapter in my driving career
can american truck teach how to truck irl at least basics
Of course, but not that much
It will teach you that you have to watch out what the trailer is doing etc.
backing up
maybe to expect the unexpected bcs ATS traffic is unpredictable
yea i practice backing up trailers too. thats about it tho.. it hasnt really contributed much to my driving lessons
Honestly bouncing back and forth between IRL backing and ATS backing has screwed up my ATS backing since the mirror FOV is very optimistic
This may sound like a dumb question, but as someone living in the US, how close/far from driving a regular sized pickup truck is driving a rig?
theres a mod to correct it for ETS2, idk if its also a thing for ats
Not even. Still ~10ft vs ~60ft, bit of a difference, and it is felt.
ohh its still the same company just getting a brand new one

U guys are lucky with a bed in ur truck
I uh slept 2,5 hours and have been awak since 1 am and have to get ready soon ๐ญ no sleeping abilities in my van lol
Every time I see a scania dash I freak.. WHY DOES IT LOOK SO GOOD
Its the better Swedish brand so its gotta look good in every detail
even though the stock seats suck a lot imo
because it do look good
Nice
No issues here but +10 degrees so
Vans seat was put in such a crap position
I got in was like why i cannot steer
Whoever used it put steering wheel sooo low xD
Finally some nice comforts vs my own car
Nice
It seems that the horrible cold is kinda causing problems for others
Some dude was using a welding machine under a Sisu
Or more radically heating up fuel
We did that once in army
But not with welding equipment

Finland
oh makes sense
We've had snow in Finland for months
i think half of europe didn't have snow for new year's eve
austria poland ukraine russia czechia at least
i have seen some snow when we went south of kyiv but not in kyiv
I don't know Finnish cities
Sorry for your loss
๐
Only Helsinki Tampere and Turku
Well its very close to Helsinki
oh you mean kerava
Driving here sucks and its always very on the limit regarding driving times
And the whole factory is medieval
Thankfully its only once a month, unlike Hartwall which is every week now..

First of all, everyone a happy new year, and lots of save travels, for me its time to get the first kilometer of the year on the odometer

@turbid latch you in Lahti?
Home now
what do you need to become a trucker
Thursday is Lahti day
Ahhh, saw a Simeon truck in the Lahti Gasum parking lot
license
depends where you live i guess. in my country a car ๐ license is required before you can drive trucks ๐
Multiple licenses, some techincal know how, be decent in math, lots and lots of training for administration, traffic/road rules and so much more, and ones you have your license, the real learning begins, and also don't expect a 9 to 5 job
Thats required in almost every modern country in the world, and skme require you to have a car license for so many years, of you have to be a certain age before you can get a truck license
fair enough
OKay
i am guessing it also costs a lot to get all of them
assuming i pass my exam tomorrow it will have cost โฌ5k to get my truck license + commercial exams "code95"
yea its not too bad
thats without trailer license. but again idk what prices are like for your area
my father wanted to become one
ooo
but sadly he didn't succeed
Depends, where are you from, here in the Netherlands you can follow a schoolcourse, 1 day a week school, 4 days working, and with the work you do, you pay the school and your licenses
yea and some companies offer to pay it for you if you work for them
just pay random office worker 50 bucks and case of vodka
and ull have c+e + everything else u can dream off

Not sure how it goes in Ukraine to be honest, but since its a country that goes by the european rules i think its the same you need
@magic girder do you mostly drive in the Netherlands or outside?
I paid few hundred bucks in total for everything
Car license, truck licence C and C+E, code 95, physical exam
Only Netherlands
car license cost me around โฌ3k i think
and trailer im honestly not sure how much that will be
tbf once u got c
- e is "cheap"
only need lessons and exam
and that just depends on how good u are at parking and avoiding curbs
I don't know how much it did cost me, i followed the school course, and did it that way, but when i got my B(car) license that did cost me 1950 euro, and i believe the C license was around 3k and the CE also around 2k, and then all the courses for code 95, which where another 1500 to 2k, also got my forklift license at 750 euro and my ADR which was around 750 too
your boss didnt pay for adr/ forklift
Also 750 for forklift u got scammed
or is it for the one that u hang on the trailer
Got them via school, not via my boss, my boss at that time was a jerk
forklift costs 500 at my driving school ex. taxes
I'm allowed to drive the large container forklifts too, the school decided to instead of doing a simple course, also to do the warehouse trucks, and the heavy duty 12 tons and higher forklifts and that also included the Kooiaap
And ADR was also a expende course, spend 4 days following that, but we also had the pleasure of using fire exthinguishers and fire hoses
how long does it take to cross entirety of Netherlands from north to south?
not very long
rotterdam to groningen takes me like 2,5hours if i can do over 100
With a truck, just a little more than 4 hours
but to the bottom of limburg your probably looking at 4 hours at 100km if not more
just depends on traffic
and what time your driving
I did Drachten to Beek in 4 hours, so doing Eemshave to Maastricht around 4.5 hours
Ok
I'm doing each day Roosendaal to Drachten, that just over 3 hours
I live in Kyiv (pretty much in the center of Ukraine) and when we were going to Ivano-Frankivsk (near Lviv) it took us a little over 6 hours on a car so I am guessing it would take 12 - 15 hours
if its all highway truck can probably do it in 9-10 hours
as im assuming we arent counting stops
also helps if the roads arent kaboomed

Average speed in a truck doing highway only sits around 70 to 80 km/h, times 9 is 630 to 720 km you do on a normal day, if you are lucky, you can do do around 800 if you can keep the speed up and use the 10 hours you can
Thats why i never go there, roads are to bad
lucky you
also wichever coworker used my van is either light or a troll
as they put my air seat weight way too low
but i forgot to adjust it back
Been there twice, still have a trauma because of it
ahaha
as soon as i enter belgium
BONK just. at the border
within 5min my back pain x10
only place that dont happen is on antwerp ring
but it depends where u enter it
and wich road you use
oh
Imagine i went there twice in a volvo

I prefer germany for driving over belgium for sure
u like stau more then backpain?
Even if that means driving in stau
๐ต baustelle ๐ต
Yes, because than you don't get backpain from the bumps and holes like you get in belgium, and Antwerpen and Brussels are also always full with traffic
tbf lately ive been lucky
with where i had to go / knowing not to follow gps
that i cut off alot of time / people
by just taking a 3km offramp into a construction zone
that passes atleast 30mins of waiting
bit of a ass move but usually i can take the exit depending if i need to return
aorund liefkenshoek e17 area
And in germany you know, that they always have a Baustelle, but atleast they use the money to fix the roads

yes too much money but ye
only been to germany two times for work
besides the occasional shortcut
and its always fun to do vmax
untill someone cuts infront of you and then it takes 5mins to reach it again
but fun
what does that mean
anyways ill brb imma shower ive been awake since 1am lmao
oop
Been a few times to germany, on the highway i just kept it to 83 or 85, and in the van i only could go 100
Our previous was limited to 130
But that atleast reached it in decent time
Plus it was nice not having to be in 4/5th if your in the hilly area

This one just tops at -165 or so depending on conditions because brick
Limited to 100 km/h and no cruise control, the long journey's always sucked, and he like to sent the van guys on the longest routes, van was cheaper than a truck and no tachograph
Once in a while we would get a trip to the Rurh, no one liked doing that one
Limited and no cruise control = find brick
I had a piece of wood
Only one van has no cruise but its fine as noone uses ut now
But i bet in summer it might as collegas van they retrofitted cruise
But it has no ac
Wich is unacceptable imo but
We also had no AC not in the trucks or vans, he was a absolute cheaps ass
eww
Yea I wouldnt even work for anyone without cruise and ac
Automatic is bonus but
If i got highway 95% its ok
Company doesn't exist anymore
Aslong as i got no jams besudes my music ofc
Wonder why
This the one that bought new trucks and reused the old crappy boxes
Got taken over by another company, but only for the work, but funny thing is, after it got tsken over, 95% of the work they had went with the old main planner who begun his own company and now had a fleet of 20 trucks
Yes

Geussing he played it smart and bought out the rest so cheap fleet
They did think they played it smart, because we had specialized pretty good paying work, but as soon as the customers heard who wanted to take over the company they looked for someone else to do the work, a few of those customers came from the company that wanted to take over, they jad a bad experience with them, so when the main planner announced he was gona start for his own, they all went with him
Also a part of the employees instead of going over, they quit and got working for the planner

Nice
The screen on the dash next to the poppys?
I see people complaining about bumpy roads in belgium
And then u have me going to offroad in a 10x8
I feel every bump in my back
that is part of the work you choose rowan.
if i said that i would have been brought to hell by rowan cuz i don't know him other then rowan from discord

I know him for many years before meeting him irl lol
We always โbullyโ eachother
Its not really bullying but its fun
so he has tiny arms
who has driven on their truck in the Uk
I know a bunch of blokes from the UK, awsome bunch of guys, but never driven there my self
All i did was drive a truck in ets2 in the uk drove on the wrong side for 20min found out and alt f4ed
So never going there irl

Nice!
So what do you guys think of the autonomous truck tech that is being worked on?
Doubt it'll become a thing in Europe
A European company called Einride is testing in the US.
To be honest, just leave that crap, i have a anti collision/ distance from vehicle in front of me system, and i like that system, usefull when needed, and can be switched off, lane warning system is the first thing i switch off, most annoying system there is,
Tech can be nice as a addition in helping a driver, but a human is still the best operator on the road, a computer can't see things a human can, and also can't make the same disisions a human can make, there are plenty of video's of tesla's autonomous driving where if the driver did not react it would have resulted in a crash because the tesla did not see something, or did something else what could cause a accident
Love driving in the UK on ETS2, with Promods
I have the same stuff in my International LT. We can only temporarily shut it off. Comes back on every 15 minutes.
I can turn them off until i restart
I'm jealous. My truck sounds like an arcade sometimes
And I own a 2022 Model 3. Autopilot is nice if you need to send a text or do something else real quick. But thats it
Anti collision i can't turn off, that always on, distance keeping i can turn off, but 95% of the time i have it on, and lane warning i switch of as soon as the engine is on, it picks up on other things than the lines too like water on the road
Ye
To be honest, no tesla for me anytime soon, i don't like the look of them models, and also i don't like electric cars, but well thats just me, and as far as the autonimous driving, i'm the driver, not the car, the whole reason i'm a truck driver is that i want to drive
I uses Autopilot for twenty miles once on the highway. It was extremely boring
Assisting systems to help avoiding accidents, i'm all for those, but let the driver drive
Electric cars are pretty nice. I have an outlet in my garage and a 350 mile range(563 km)
I drive a diesel and do around 900 to 1000 km on a full tank, and can fill up 200 meter from my house
If i really watch my right foot i can do 1150 km
I meant my personal vehicle. My work truck is diesel
Thats my personal vehicle a diesel car
Has almost 220k miles(350k km) on it, and never skipped a beat, last year i did over 40k km
I moved right beside my companies terminal. I don't want to drive after 950 km in a truck
Owner operator?
Employee
Same here
Its a 44 km 27 mile one way, so 88 km 55 miles a day
But i love driving, so i don't care
Drove from Barcelona(Spain) back home to NL in 22 hours in my car
Yes
United States, Ohio
Just over 1750 km 1090 miled
I moved away from where i work, had a 12 km commute, but could buy the same house for 50% less just a little ways away then where i lived at that moment
I'm a local driver. 480 km to Chicago and then back home.
There reason was not so awsome, but it was a fun drive, started driving at 9 ish in the morning, and arrived at 6.30 the other morning, kept driving all day, just a few small rest/ eating stops and 2 fill ups, filled up in Spain because cheap, drove all the way through france and filled up in belgium again, had a spare 5 liter jerry can, which i had to use, and made the border on bassicly fumes
I'm a local driver too, do about 525 km each day, same route
Ever thought of coming to the states to drive?
I looked into driving I'm Europe before. But the pay was less unfortunately.
I did when i was still single, but i'm im a long time relationship, and ee don't want to leave the family etc behind, although my partner loves New York city, he has been there on holiday, and to be honest, i like the look of the americam trucks, but for me they are so unpractical
I don't have anything to complain, but thats also because of the work i do, and my working years for the company
You don't want to drive in NYC. It's a pain in the ass! Low bridges and weight restrictions everywhere
People double parking, so you can't make turns
A wrong turn could cost you a ticket
I know that, than i think i would go more into the long haul, but not for a mega carrier, don't like companies where you are just a number instead of a human
Or work like i do now, depot work
I work for a family owned carrier, but we're turning corporate. Over 4000 drivers and 73 terminals.
We're a smaller version of FedEx Freight
LTL companies in the US are paying around 120k or more a year though.
I think UPS is over 130k
I worked for a family owned company, 80 ish trucks, 120 to 130 employees, but everything on first name basis, 1 warehouse, own mechanics and truckwash, got taken over in 2020/21, and now its a company with over 380 employees and 6 warehouses, and everything is now on last name basis, mechanics are gone and the truckwas is closed for over a year since its broken
To be honest, i like my work to much, and my pay is always good, otherwise i might be looking into going someshere else
The work i do is for DHL going to multiple depots
Oh cool. So your doing LTL work
Bassicly yes, load at the first depot, drive to another, switch trailers, drive to another one, switch trailers again, and go back and unload, and then done
Same thing I do
I love what i do, doing it for 6.5 years, and still enjoy it every day
15 years here. 13 with my current empl
I'm since februari 2016 with my employer, so almost 8 years
Nice
And to be honest, i know more people at DHL than i know at the company i work for
It's a kitakamera
You could work all over the world with them
Oh you have it separately
Ye, don't know why it's not connected to the camera button on the infotainment unit
I know, but i don't want to be employed by DHL, i know how they work, atleast here in NL, was employed at DHL in 2015 for 4 months, and i said never again, you are a complete number for them.
With the work i now do for DHL its different, i'm not employed by DHL, but with my boss, but the only thing i do is the depot work for DHL,
And to be honest, i also for the depot work not want to be employed by DHL, because they bassicly run a complete shit show, every day i'm shaking my head on how they do things and how they want things to be done, but me not being employed by them, takes away me worrying about those things
I have a lot of good "coworkers" and also a lot of people i'm friends with at DHL, and those people make up a lot of the good things
Sounds like a good employer to be with then
Things where a little better in the past, but it could be worse for sure, most things are just done by 1 phone call, although since 1st of januari we don't have a 24/7 mechanic anymore, which sucks, since i'm working at night, normaly if something breaks, we could call the number and they would take care of it, now i have to do things my self, but i have a mechanical background, so i can get things done my seld, and have the number of the dealer of my truck
Been to 2 gas stations already and none of them have winter diesel available
Better be at the next one or im gonna get a bit nervous
Happy belated new year everyone. Howโs your first shift back after celebrating the start of 2024? Iโll start
Couldnโt have started any worse quite frankly
Canโt have a single second of enjoyment with a Renault
hi, has anyone got a good truck interior picture at night time???
i need it for a assignment
it would be wonderful if someone helped me
I canโt offer any help as my pictures are boring, mind if I ask what the assignments about? Sounds interesting
Yea, thatโs good pics
Itโs about truck drivers and there sleep
How does sleep affect there brain and body functions
What is sleep
You can summarise the whole piece perfectly. Quote me: โSleep? Never heard of himโ
Easy
There isn't any to begin with

๐๐๐
Nice
Ngl i slept like crap aswell
I dont have to sleep in my truck but the constantly changing sleep schedules are pain
U dont have a set schedule?
Ud think h do seeing u basicly drive full loads to factories that its possible
I mean i do
But yeah the changing sleep schedule is pain
Once i have a day off i sleep 12 hours if not more in one go usually lmao
Either i do morning shift or night shift
Morning shift starts at 3 AM and ends on 3 PM
Night shift other way around
Every week it changes
Brewery days can take up to 15 hours so they screw up the hours
My colleague had to do his shift from 6 PM to 6 AM today
And they can choose if they wanna do night or day afaik
Night shifts are actually okay for me
More salary and less traffic
And i can load and unload in complete peace
Yes
I aint a morning person if i had choice id probably take night
Then i also never have the issue of needing to fix my sleeping schedule if i have few days off
Oh for sure
The times they rush us in the vans for trying to get somewhere just before time limit
But then get mad we wont make kt
(They refuse to pay the speedingticket)

I have to do online code 95 trainings
Good enough
What brand is this?
VDL Coach
bova?
looking good
looks perfect to me
still have to be in this program for 40min.
Everything had to be above 60%
so now im done for the next year for code 95

The joy of getting loaded for hauling scrap metal
New trailer but not so new since the front axle doesnโt lift
Even tho it should
The song goes it never rains in southern California
That sure as hell can't be said about the Netherlands
isnt it valid for 5 years
Yes but u need 35hours of elearning or practical lessons.
So if you do 7 hours a year
damn
People think getting ur truck license is it
No u also have to maintain your code 95
With boring days
and medical exam
Some are boring, some can be fun
can you find european styled truck in america or vise versa?
also what trucks do they use outside of north america and europe?
For both yes, there are people that have imported european trucks to the US and US truck to the EU, and in the 70/80's Scania did sell truck in the states, but stopped after a few years
Lot of parts of the world either have thier own truck manufacturers like Russia, China, Japan and some other countries, or they just use the european or american brands, some countries like Australia and New Sealand use both American amd European truck.
Lots of parts of africa and the middle east tend to use old european trucks where they start on thier second or thier live after thier usefull life in Europe,
South Amarican countries tend to use a mix of European and American, where countries like Brasil and Chile most use European designs, but localy made and designed for thier needs
In the USA you can find about 200 to 300 ish Scania 2 and 3 series, 2 Scania 4 series both owned by a youtuber, and a 2013 R730 10x4 heavy haul truck, a 2006 Scania R420 owned by a stunt team, a DAF 95 owned by a carnavalride guy, and Paccar has a few DAF test trucks, and Navistar has a few Scania test trucks running in the states.
There are a few companies that still run the old 2 and 3 series every day on the states, one company has 10 of them in the construction and earth moving work, and also does heavy haul work with them, and then there are multiple other companies that run 2 and 3 serie dump trucks, most run in the upstate New York, Pennsylvania, Conneticut, Massachusettes and New York city area, thats also where they where sold mostly in the 70's and 80's
in Canada you can find about 10 to 15 various Scania trucks, 4 and 5 series owned by farious people, most are owned by Dutch or Belgium guys
Also to import a truck into the USA it has to be 25 years or older, with a few exceptions, and for Canada 15 years old.
For Europe there is not a age restiction to bring a vehicle in, aslong as it does pass its inspection
American trucks also can be found in Europe, but most are only show trucks, as its not economical and practical to use them for work, with a few exceptions offcourse
To make his time full, mandatory 4 hour online schooling for the code 95 course he is following
Renewal
Lot of towing companies also tend to use peterbilts or even scania tcabs for towing trucks
A few do have have pete's KW, internationals or Freightliners, but thats mainly possible because of the permits they run those trucks on, and with these permits the lenght isn't that much of an issue, but at the same time those companies also run the smaller normal european trucks for like city work etc cause the large trucks are to big to run there
Niel Yates Recovery has K100 and a lonestar wrecker, but most trucks they run are either DAF Mercedes or Scania's
Good luck, sucks that it happens
Naturally the last ones are more beneficial
I'd assume they use up less diesel, oil etc than some old longnose
Yeah
Gotta hope im done in time i have to gk to garage with my car as my exhaust is broken or loose
Remove it
upgrade

Bro when i start it up it sounds good for like 2 seconds
Cuz the xhaust
Ill record it later xD

Can someone explain whats the difference between Holland Style Trucks and Danish Style trucks?
Thanks
How much has someone driven maximum in 1 day?
one is holland style
and the other is danish style
But whats the difference? they look exact the same

๐
think danish style is purely based on the interior stuff
as they use danish pluche
but other then that it is basicly the same yeah afaik
im home already
Back again in this silly place..
For once my trip to Lahti isnt interrupted by some nasty surprise

Only small issue was trying to find a gas station with working AdBlue pumps
Found one before Lahti but the pistol was so frozen that i spent like 10 minutes trying to fill it up
We just fill up adblue at our company hall
Theres the teboil station infront of our depot but uh
Only one pump is working and its the one that isnt what to use rn
In europe you can drive 9 hours a day, and twice a week 10, max speed is either 80 or 90 km/h, but you won't drive that speed all the time, so the average speed is around 70 to 80 if you only drive highway, if you also drive local roads the average drops under 70 quickly.
So doing average 75 km/h over 9 hours is 675 km a day.
With the 10 hours its around 750 km a day, and if you are lucky, and you can keep the speed up, you can do around 800 km a day
at school we work with 60 kmh average when creating a route as school work. and 1 minute to load or unload 1 pallet
Like i said thats only when only doing highway driving, going on smaller roads the average drops quickly below the 70 to 60 km/h and sometimes even lower depending on the work, also had days that my average speed was just 30 to 35 km/h, but the only thing i did was city driving with loads of stops
my average is like 60
and im doing mostly highway and at 100 lol
sad can't use it at school. a example was
start utrecht
first stop hamburg
second stop polish city
third stop berlin, hamburg or another polish city
last stop utrecht.
and we had to work with 60 kmh even tho its mostly highway as you can see
I will see what the avg is on my truck doing 525 km highway and 150 local delivery work a day
ill check tomorrow at end of day if i dont forget
I know it in about 1 hour

Cause cheap, means no strobe
O yea, thats true
i wish my van had strobes
maybe then my coworkers would see me ๐ญ
only time i get a flash back is if i pass them going same way or if its on a n road but i never see them there really lol
No use in a one way street
I ordered bunch of new ones today. Which are higher, bigger and brighter
nice
if my ocmpany lets me get truck license first thing im adding to the truck is beacons
and some strobes
as all the dafs dont got beacons nothin
and i doubt theyd let me get a brand new truck at start lol
Doubt it. Really only use them if I'm parked against traffic or backing on public roads
alr
it has to be hard to spend so much time away from family and friends
I love being alone
Daring to think i have friends
Over the last night(trip 2) and day the truck did over 2 shifts 641 km, 525 are done by me, 121 km by the day shift driver and the average speed is 61.7 km/h,
I also did a reset of trip 1 on the last day of december so we started of with 0 in the new year and we don't reset that to see how much we do in a year, and that has 1374 km on it so far, and 58.9 km/h average with a average fuel consumption of 25.1 l/100 km
Thats the life of a truck driver, i'm home everyday, but some are away from home all week and some even multiple weeks to a month or even months
yes
but thats also decided by the driver if he wants to be home or not
i dont think id mind to be in truck all week
if that means paid for food
- extra money to sleep in truck
aslong as i got acces to a shower / clean toilet atleast once a day idc
Or do nightshifts, the night bonus etc is the same if not more than the money you get for the food and to stay in the truck, and the benefit is you are home everyday
yeah but my company dont do nightshift
besides container and im not sure if i wanna do that xd
Its also work not everyone is able to do
yea
i mean im pretty sure the container work for our drivers is easy
as theres no dock work nothing its just usually pickup and dropooff the trailer and get new one or take the container of
and sometimes they do put it on dock i think
Easy work, the container terminals can maybe a pain
A34 is standstill haha good job I pulled over for rest an hour ago
Peter built 567 loading feed
Real life mod released
Niceee Peter built?
Spending the 45 minutes nicely
but why did they steal the 645 euro's?
Cause they stole 44 million, and this was a accident robbery to get rid of evidence
So smart
They rented a bike, but the bike got a sort of stolen, and to prevent them from fimding out the broke in the rental company unknowing some people where still working there, so they staged it as a robbery, and that 645 euro was was they stole, and they deleted the files
Serie is called Berlin
Smart criminals
Thanks
Also i can advice to watch La casa de papel, that serie has to do with this serie
Its all about smart thieves
Gotta finish watching "The Rookie" on Netflix first but thanks
In the weekends its the Rookie too, my bf isn't to much into La casa de papel, he watched 2 episodes but was not a fan of it and i loved it, so when i have my 45 i'm watching a episode of Berlin currently amd weekends we watch the Rookie together

Like i care diesel is diesel i aint paying
Well shit

๐ค๐ป
Woahh sick!
Thanks
A clean truck is a park truck
In around 1.45 hours
Oh
I wont see you theb lol
Im leaving my mom in 40
No reason to blind everybody then
That wait is to long
Going onto the A15 from A27
what is the diff between a semi truck and a truck
๐๐๐

Semi truck is mostly reffered to as truck with trailer, a truck is mostly reffered to as a box truck without a trailer
i whould send pics of my 4 trcuks but idk how to get verified
All your truck?
For the person who was interrested in the average speed and trip distance, 67.4 km/h was the last night average, it could be a little higher if i had turned of the engine when switching trailers, 90% highway driving 10% local roads and industrial area and company lots, total weight between 20 to 32 tons today
They can keep it far away from me
alr
went from van driver to 9 year old truck spotter
what a downgrade
ur rig?
From my boss
So u dont drive it?
This is a show truck for events here in germany
#irl-media then if its not your rig
Off, okey
me and my dad ye
you drive the blue one?
not old enough to drive but I fix it always
nice one lad sound
real question: is it yours๐ค
Yes
U own all those trucks? @tame shale
1 truck is me dad
Then share a pic of ur dads truck or us #irl-media / #photos
Ok sorry ๐
All good just for the next time ๐

I'm doomed

Going from Wuppertal, to loading in koblens and unloading is headed Venlo
tiny truck
tiny with 5 axles 4 of those are powered.
my bike has more axles than that truck
so you have more then 10 wheels on your bike?
yes
what kind of bike do you have then?
The thing Jeremy Clarkson drove on Top Gear
960cm they are allowed to be 12m
10-wheeler
wich one?
i only count 8 wheels
Goodluck lmfao
Bruh just signed cmr and he came back out running โu didnt pht the dateโ
Couldve done it himself but

10x8
Today transporting Gravel and Sand
Around 52-60tons
Per trip total weight including the truck.

so the fine is less then what the company makes?
Its legal in his truck
50 ton max
Theres exceptions
Do you really need 8 wheel drive
He has 10 wheels 8 are powered
That's why I asked sir
Rural terrain, heavy load yes its needed
Doubt
One axle is allowed to hold 10-11 tons so if you weigh 60 ton yes you need them all Maybe not all powered but if that is the only config you can get so be it
I go offroad so yes
Rowan, you know how volvo has fmx Scania has xt so they are higher of the ground. Your MAN is also higher of the ground does it have something similar to Scania and volvo?
If it has something similar with either of them, it's Scania.
Dont know
I just know i got this truck
And it somehow works.
And i know the basics.
Yes for offroad and some big hills.
We go fully offroad on sand etc
So we need all wheels to have power
To not get stuck
Offroad tyres
Offroad tyres arent the way to go offroad
If u put offroad tyres on a Volkswagen golf u can go a bit offroad
But not the same as a 10x8
they aren't the same weight but but its true
Jumped to 00.00 as I pulled the parking brake
Gonna have some schnitzel with the farmers
enjoy
only 2.556 km more and then you have 100k
Quick mafs
lol
container is doing ๐
Skill issue

My operator tells me to use google maps so you wouldnโt get stuckโฆ then maybe send us a message during the night so we can anticipate it for the next day
Because for my defense I only know one road I donโt know any small ones
Relying on. Google maps not to get stuck is stupid
If they dont want to risk it they should give u truck navi
Or atleast tell me a good road to take so that I donโt get screwed. Because I donโt know all the side roads that leads to a road I know
Im stuck since 6 a.m then they tell me all the others are already at their destination
Im never gonna be on time for sure
Pallet literally got declined for that
New automatic system at Plus DC's is way too strict
thats stupid
i get it if the whole pallet is basicly flat
but thats clearly no damage on product
plus oss?
Yep

A semi truck was upside down
Yea he was, atleast judging by the fact he was walking in circles talking on a phone
Pretty sure he was doing max speed
In conditions like these there can be slippery spots randomly everywhere
yeah
slippery spot + steering or something at wrong time maybe add some braking
probably spun and went into a ditch
Polish DAF drivers
Gotta salute them for trying to doing max speed against the limiter on ice
chef not happy otherwise
its definetly not lack of driving experience or something
as im sure thy know how to drive in snow seeing they get that in poland
My uncle is a trucker in Estonia and its sadly too common there that they have to do super tight schedules
With worn tyres and trucks
oh yeah
'rare to see them in a brand new truck
ofcourse maintenance lacks
as they rarely go back to origin country
He now works for a chemical transport company too and he says that its so weird when you can drive without hurry
haha
yeah im glad i dont get rushed
just adds unnesecary risk
resulting in these kinds of crashes
Having to clean road salt is very uncool
Couldnt see anything from the mirrors while driving
im surprised my mirrors havent salted up
White nose with the snow
ah zaandam is better, but that pallet will also get rejected there
@turbid latch this you?
Ahh, then it wasn't you
Only a huge wheat thingy and Koskenkorva propaganda
smol, yet big also very cute Scania imo
@turbid latch veri gud rer fogs
As long as theres something red visible ๐
The rear fogs turn the reversing lights on for some reason
Convenient on the motorway
Does anyone Drives a garbage truck? I Love it!
Got to love being in this temp
And having to wait 20 mins outside because thats how they setup their office
Not even shielded from cold notbing just death by cold
yh
in 4k
What you need is a pressure washer
yeah 1 time per month
i would say end of the day. just the dirt of and its good
I faced this yesterday afternoon so yeah
Snรถw
Does anyone take part in the strike in Germany?
When youโre doing oversize loads from time to time?
Longer cable or no
no

Rules are rules

Mostly for show n stuff
I use my truck to shunt on Fridays and all the polish and Romanian people from heisterkamp know our beacons/strobes vehicles have priority lol
And for city centers when I have a city-trailer. I usually park against traffic so people can't drive into the loadingramp
a few of my colleagues have them aswell and ofcourse all the nijkamp drivers who are stationed at our location
not flashing when you come across either wessels or nijkamp colleagues is really frowned upon here lol since everyone is on a first name basis
Why they think that
Tbf i dont know many by name and i still flash
They just dont see it usually
Stupid weak drl being used as highbeam
because they get verbally abused if they dont
Lol
But all the regulars already know
Im geussing that is if they come onto company yard
We have plenty of stupid drivers come in and park infront of office
Or front at the docks
Note, we have 2 office one at parking for wh1 and main for wh2
No matter what they needa park at office 1 and walk
Some have to go to wh1 park infront of office 2
Then try and turn around
Like bruh
Theres a sign for a reason
We don't have any of that signs n stuff
If its busy i cant even unload
Then they start yapping why i go before them

We also got a rule, warn them to wear safety boots or shoes
If not chase them
With a forklift
What's a safety shoe
My coworkers once asked me why i didnt run over some guys feet
We only do safety-flipflops here
Yea
The best safety is the power of vodka and dirty sandals and sock
We're not so strict when it comes to just about anything
Dont forget the tshirt that doesnt fit
Aslong as they arent loading and stay on a designated walking path they technically dont have to wear them by law
But
That's why we get all the 5 star reviews from foreign lkw drivers๐
Thats usually to the office only
Here if someone is rude or wont move for drivers we tell
And theb warehouse makes them wait lmao
So did u have much issues with the protest? @proper elbow
Not much
Nice
I had such a short day today
I was finished by 10:10
So took my time going back etc
Need the hours to be as high as possible
I swear this kind of load is a nightmare to attach mostly around 6 rolls of those
Didn't rain when I went out for a walk. Haven't been at work tonight
I got pretty scared when the car showed like -2c outside and all of sudden it started raining like crazy

Can never have too many lights
Man i wish i had evem one of thosw
You drunk?
I Work since 3pm
does that sun visor even work? with how high its located.
I can't post Pictures :(((
you need to verify
How
