Hmm, in case someone had the opportunity to get a Truck license to make a living you probably heard it a million times throughout your theory lessons. Don´t use your Phone while driving. Infact, you have to pay 100 Euro and get a point in Flensburg. When you put someone in Danger you lose your license for one month and have to pay 150 Euro. Might be even worse in other Countries.

That said, there are a few Vlogers on Youtube who also drive Trucks for a living and even they use a handheld Camera of sorts.
I can´t tell if it is a grey area or something because it isn´t a phone but you also don´t have both hands on the wheel which is a rule to get the actual license.

So yeah.. i guess a penalty inform of a ban was more than rightful in the end. if it should be permanently is a different story, at least in this case. Can´t tell what happend befor this that lead to the perma ban.

• How should I organize my truck? (what supplies should i bring with me and how should I setup my fridge in terms of food, drink, etc.)
• I am a huge fanboy of the Freightliner Cascadia, and wondering, what are some of y'alls opinions on the truck? (specificially 2017 and newer)
• What engines seem to be the best?(Paccar or cummins? Detroit or cummins?)
• Are the seats comfy for the long drives? (especially if you're driving for 10 hours a day)
• What does it take to start being an owner operator? How much money should I save up, buy a used or new truck? Start with a box truck?

Best advice don't become a truck driver. Unless you go local or LTL. There is no money in otr. Also with the o/o don't even consider that till you have at least some experience in the industry otherwise you WILL fail.

But OTR American truckers are treated like garbage, low ball pay, no parking, people dont know how to drive, Horribly unhealthy food options, consistently harassment from DOT many more reasons.
