i have a funnier issue; i can only launch ETS2 via TruckersMP. if i try and launch the game by itself, no matter what launch type, it opens a tiny window, sometimes gets as far as a black screen, then just.... closes. No crash report or anything, it just closes.

I am not sure you are understanding me; i can ONLY launch the game via tmp. None of the versions via just Steam work, at all.

Safe mode, Backdating to an earlier version, OpenGL, all of them do not launch the game. they get as far as the black screen right before the SCS logo is supposed to appear, then just.... closes.

but, if i launch the game via tmp? No issues at all.

I saw another person having the same issue on Reddit, but neither of us have been messaged as to what could be casuing it

its because DAF asked for SCS to not have the tuning packs include NGD DAF's as of now, but once SCS has the greenlight they'll support NGD's with the tuning pack

though you can get any of them with a fifth wheel if you really wanted

My buddy and I are experiencing different speeds, even though we put the cruise control on the exact same speed. If he puts it at 90 km/h, it is only 70 km/h for me.

Our resolution is the same, engines and transmissions are the same. But the speeds are not the same.

Version updates usually cancel jobs even if you save your progress , its only patches that dont cancel

Unless you're willling to manually make your save usable on previous version... which I haven't tried personally

After playing with your profile on 1.59 you made it unusable on 1.58. You'll have to use a backup the game automatically makes when using a new game version, which means you won't have any progress from 1.59

Yes; if you'd stayed on 1.58 you wouldn't lose any progress after a later update to 1.59

My old pc had win 10 and did shut down when i opened a game thats why i ended up getting a new pc that has win 11 and is not air cooled still got dust but no where near what a air cooled pc would get in the case
