clay don't currently have rockertunity, to my knowledge

You teleport to a test mapsquare that the master crafters made :^)

pure herald
#

honestly task set rewards in general could use a good long look

#

obviously outside of the scope of this update

zenith thorn
#

Yeah. Only reason we thnk about it is because the portable deposit box is a currently (though late addition!) task set reward

velvet frigate
#

You know I never thought to ask… @young dome platinum rocks will our ore box be able to store them or will we need to do something special like make a platinum trimmed ore box to hold them?

zenith thorn
#

Was added in 2014, 6 years after the initial task set

#

It doesn't have to platinum, could be porcelain clay too for that matter

#

or neither

velvet frigate
#

Well I’m just thinking it be neat if the crafting guild master has a task to teach us how to improve our ore box to hold platinum

autumn girder
#

the point was the bank box could be an easy/accessible unlock, then add something higher end but not crucial for tougher unlocks

velvet frigate
#

Ah

autumn girder
#

what those unlocks should be would depend on what matters

zenith thorn
#

I do realise we probably should have this convo in QoL thread but oh well I didnt even notice we werent in it until now

autumn girder
#

it's like how you have a handful of spots for core ores and the ones people choose to use depend on the unlocks they have, in terms of quest/no quest/bigger ask (IE frem elite for best bane)

#

it'd be fine if one of the options was "I did task sets, I want to get the resource at the guild"

zenith thorn
#

Elite Falador seem like a fair thing to lock a resource spot behind

tame tangle
#

hmm maybe platinum rocks could be in the kharazi jungle

merry horizon
#

Ya know it's weird that there's no divine locations for gems

#

Also, it'd be neat if you could like use like 100 of a specific divine location to add that resource to specific places in the world

#

Use 100 divine banite locations to add 2 or 3 rocks to the mining guild

#

That sorta thing

tame tangle
#

I imagine there's an intention to give it some flavor text rather than plop it anywhere, with its rarity in real life and status in game as the next base for higher tier jewelry, it would either have to be recently discovered or not workable until recently. Kharazi Jungle requires legend's quest to even enter and a map to navigate so in-universe it's a pretty exlusive and not well known area innit

young dome

Chaortic ore rock

velvet frigate
#

That’s the idea I proposed to you back in WCing 110 when I suggested the ghost wood. A forest in um made of memories so the trees are always periodically changing/shifting to different trees some extinct and some not cause memory.

merry horizon
#

It's got a silly half-life

#

I still think my idea of letting people mine stone spirits in an Um mine would be a nice addition

zenith thorn
autumn girder
#

sounds like a mining guild thing

merry horizon
#

Gem spirits would be outrageous

velvet frigate
#

There is a dark wizard tower very close to the guild, it could be this area has chaotic energy in it producing a large variety of resources and the crafting guild was built around it. Only friends of Falador with a high crafting level are allowed into the guild’s stash of chaotic ore.

tame tangle

Will 110 crafting come with a Masterwork snelm?

I like the looks of the Grandmaster Infinity Robes the best. It's been a long time since the original Infinity robes came out and they could definitely use a refresh. The left "male" model is nice in the example, however the "female" model is too pastel... equalize the colors or make them recolorable and I think we have a winner. They are the only robe set that really stands out from everything else, which is what we all like to do.

unborn thicket
#

I also like the Grandmaster Infinity Robes best! (the design on the left. The one on the right is just ok)

#

Mystic or Dagon Hai would be my 2nd and 3rd choice, although not as cool as Infinity - and I dont like Ancestral or Bloodbark at all - they are very plain!

Hey all, i'm looking for your suggestions on where the new seed will come from for the new plant

  1. Thieving - We want this to be a good method to getting the seed. Which high level Thieving NPCs do you think would be best to give it?
  2. PvM - Which high level slayer monsters and or bosses should drop it?
  3. Everything else - are there any other pieces of content you think would be suitable to drop the seed (e.g. Trisk keys, big game hunter and so on)
torn spindle
#

Do we get any notes on what the plant is?

#

Cause i know that would influence my answer

#

Big theming guy over here

merry horizon
#

Some new thieving chests are always a safe addition though

#

Perhaps (primal) jadinko's

#

Perhaps some 'seedy implings'

zenith thorn
#

Nature Impling could have it added to its table

#

Ultimately without themeing its hard to know what would be a good fit

#

I'm gonna agree with the above and go with gnomes, without knowing anything more

velvet frigate
#
  1. Gnomes and dwarf traders
  2. Vileblooms and camel warriors
  3. Pyramid plunder and shifting tombs
zenith thorn
#

Same for monsters, without knowing theme I'm thinking Mutated Jadinko and Vileblooms

merry horizon
#

If new mobs are fine as a suggestion we can pull out the alchemical dragons from the poll from like a decade

#

Afternatively, we new version of the wandering wyrmwood west of falador could work, as a sort od hunter mob

#

Perhaps a hard mode jadevine

torn spindle
#

My best guess without theming is:

  1. Crux Eqal Knights, Cryws elves, highest tier of safes
  2. Soul Devourers, Vileblooms, Gate of Elidnis
  3. Bird nests

yeah if you want to add a new thievable npc then that could also open it up

#

depends on what the seed actually is

as far as other methods, some thieving chests could be fun

or

#

if you want to make people hate themselves

#

maybe as a reward for trading goutweeds in to sanfew

merry horizon

steal seeds from squirrel / bird nests in trees

autumn venture
#

I'm gonna suggest some pieces of (relatively) dead content that could get it. Because I like seeing old, forgotten content get a resurrection. What the seed actually IS should influence whatever gets it for theming reasons, so I'm providing a varied list.

  • Dwarf traders
  • Dragon and Kingly implings
  • Vinesweeper
  • Gnome Restaurant (it could benefit from some valuable rewards other than the 103m gnome scarf from two specific NPCs!)
  • Herblore Habitat Saradomin/Zamorak/Guthix Jadinkos
  • Jadinko Lair Offering Stone
  • Big Chinchompa reward shop

Just for the love of god keep it away from the Arch Glacor (and similiar "I am going to destroy this item's value" drop tables)

merry horizon

stand-alone glacytes, as a low tier glacor equivalent might be fine though

pure herald
#

yeah implings also makes sense

#

i would say like

keeping it away from AG is good obviously

i think Arbucks went too far in the other direction

and nowadays especially with the decline of BGH out of the iron meta, arbuck seeds are largely locked behind like

  1. The lvl 92 rogue captain or another higher level rogue introduced in the wilderness might be fun for a change of pace.

(but whatever it is, it should be limited or constrained in a way that is worthy of the high level aspect of the seed, the other constrained targets I know of are the elves in Priff, but maybe a higher level target?)

  1. In my opinion, more drop sources means less value overall for the new seeds, it'd be kinda nice if this was fairly limited to high level thieving targets so that thievery would be rewarding to have leveled up and consistently worth doing.

  2. No

boreal saddle

BGH could be a good option for question 3.

gaunt wren
#
  1. thieving - hopefully with thieving 110, pickpocketing will no longer be a source of carpal tunnel syndrome, and actually have better active methods of pick-pocketing

with that in mind, a high level npc worthy of such drops, should be in the tier 80-90 range, as we also do not want to end up gatekeeping a t90 armour with a t95 thieving source, defeating the entire purpose of making tiers make sense

  1. pvm - similarly for slayer monsters, it should be around tier 80-90 range, go take a pick

for bosses, i'd argue no lower than gwd2, for sake of tier comparison (not difficulty)

  1. all else - can be in rare drop table, crystal keys, alchemist keys
boreal crest
#

There was talking about igneous stones/bird nest equivalent for fishing, this could be a great spot for them. (Also birds nest while we're thinking about it)

Anachronia is already mentioned
Triskelion keys for sure, their loot is dire. Muddy keys maybe rare-ish chance?
Alchemist's keys and Croesus seems also rareish.

"Rare" imps lost their appeal, magpie/ninja/dragon/kingly used to be something you'd get semi-excited about, a bit "meh" nowadays.
Meg's advanced loot (May's upgrade)
menaphos rep box thingies
motherlode maw
Barb assault gambles
Phoenix(divine) fire spirits, crystal trees
birds nest during Cryws hour
crystal chest during iowerth hour
Chunkers are gonna hate me for this one: Vinesweeper shop (its an awful place with awful xp/h and awful seeds/h, dont actually spend time on this)

110 thieving NPCs for sure

torn spindle

in the 110 thieving heist for sure 😉

for an item which doesn't have a thematically obvious source, ideally there should be at least one location to obtain them at a substantially higher rate, with a trickle coming from other sources. ideally the higher rate source should be one with a really undercooked table at the moment. nechyrael spring to mind.

From a PVM stand point, I think the drop should be rare but be a large quantity. Seeds being a valuable drop would be rewarding for thieving and farming.

  1. Kalphite King - Make it a 1/100 in drop for 40 seeds.
  2. Vorago - Make it a 1/100 in drop for 40 seeds
  3. Croesus - Make it a 1/100 in drop for 10 seeds.
  4. Giant mole, KBD, QBD - Make it a 1/250 drop for 40 seeds.
  5. Elite dungeons - Make it a 1/500 drop for 1 seed per Mob. 1/100 drop for 40 seeds per Boss.

I noticed that a lot of resources went down in value lately, and I'm not sure why that is, but it has made a lot of activities difficult to profit off of using the ge with the exception of divine energy which does not appear on PvM tables that I've noticed. You would think that Thievery would be a financially beneficial skill given the name, but it's really just more clicks to get less at the moment. That's why I think it would be nice if it had a bit of valuable loot that is not so easily accessible - only from high level targets, and not dropped by all the bosses in the game as well as every slayer task in the game, as many other things got from it are. That way, we might have a reason to actually want to do Thieving based on the profit! Otherwise I can see the supply just being delegated to slayer and boss drops like usual as it wont be valuable enough to thieve for. A high supply, with middling demand since people will be expecting the masterwork magic armor, would push it into 'not really valuable enough to specifically go for' after the initial release day excitement phase passes if it is too common, it seems to me! So that is my concern and that is why I think a more limited scope on high level thieving targets (without being overshadowed by PvM sources thus invalidating it's use for gold!) is best!

tame tangle
#

It's a seed and thieving is an AFK skill, there is no way for this seed to contribute significantly to the profitability of thieving without having its supply constrained immensely

unborn thicket
# tame tangle It's a seed and thieving is an AFK skill, there is no way for this seed to contr...

Seeds were profitable in the past but now you can get them in large quantities from Slayer which made them lower in value since we dont use seeds fast enough to keep up with that kind of drop rate and all the people constantly doing Slayer and Bossing in addition to Thievery sources - and besides it isnt like most seeds it is to craft lvl 90 armor - that's kinda different than the norm! I think that a lvl 90 magic armor material should be treated as having value, not as "oh it's already bad because seed."

Also, AFK money making is a gameplay style and exists too! Some players like doing this and they deserve the right to exist and play in a way that is beneficial, fun, and at times novel! It doesnt have to be boss killing to matter! It doesnt have to make 300m an hour like killing a high end boss! AFK money making rates for Divination are more like 5-7m an hour! That's perfectly fine and a valuable drop or two could certainly contribute to Thievery keeping pace - the areas of worth here are that it adds variety to the gameplay loop if you want to use Thievery for your AFK money, and could take some of the heat off Divination! Of course, Thievery needs more than just 1 thing to truly make it a desirable skill for making money, however we can only take that one step at a time and this is potentially a step in that direction depending on its distribution and value!

I mean at the end of the day why do we think anyone would be trying to get this seed? Because of value! If it has no value, then noone will bother anyways, so it wont even matter then. And lets not forget that this topic is about what to do with this seed specifically!

tame tangle
#

Divination is 5-7m an hour while farming one of the most useful and valuable resources in the game. Also, the t90 armor is kind of by design supposed to be trash because it's only supposed to be produced for exp and the achievement to unlock masterwork, and crafting is by no means slow with its current methods. I don't really think this is the opportunity to move the needle

#

Also, I think the current view for seeds is similar to things like stone spirits, they're very much fair game as monster drops while the actual skilling resource will be the gathered resource from the plant

unborn thicket
#

Yes, and that is after the price of incandescent energy has become very low compared to other energies simply because the one, single AFK money making method that feels viable to an AFK player is highly saturated with players who dont see a better or even equal alternative. If another AFK money maker existed, lets say Thieving could fit the bill if it had a loot table that wasnt heavily contested by PvM drops, then Divination would also benefit by having less saturation of players using it who would go and use Thievery instead - plenty of people would be glad for a change of pace, I'd say!

If the seed is going to be used as an XP gaining method, then it could have a lot of value I'd argue - plenty of resources are used for only that. It wont fix the skill but this isnt really a discussion about a full revamp, only what the best way to handle the seed is. And given that is the case, high level Thievery targets are the best option I think!

gaunt wren
# unborn thicket Yes, and that is after the price of incandescent energy has become very low comp...

actuaally, i think it is because div - like mining - has a cap for the tier of the resource, that doesn't improve as your level

meaning, gathering tier 12 energy versus tier 10 isn't like 2 times more energy gathered at level 99 or 120. they're almost the same because of the gathering cap for some reason

(i might be mistaken, but this was my experience when i was gathering them)

that is why i think most flood tier 12 energy instead of the lower ones, because ultimately, it isn't "cost efficient" to do so

  1. Depending on the theme, the Ramokee Skinweaver in the Polypore dungeon would be cool idea. If you fail a pickpocket, A ganodermic creature is summoned to attack you for a few seconds, before it disappears again, to teach you a lesson not to 'mess' with the Skinweaver.

  2. The Anachronia flowers make a lot of sense, themewise of fungal or abnormal growths, with high slayer level.

  3. Evil trees could give a chance of providing a seed as a reward (they also give morchella seeds). It is some twisted nature growth that is nurtured by the player.
Vinesweeper could also be a fun one, where you can buy the seed with x-amount of points.

What if gathering skills like wc, mining, and fishing gave you materials for the new magic and range armor. Wc could give wood shavings, mining rock or mineral fragments, fishing algae or something else. These 3 materials could be used to make the armor. This would make these gathering skills more profitable

wouldn't it be interesting if we had to have Superior seasinger to craft the new tier 100 masterwork magic armour? if it used the level 85 version it would create a new demand for the seasinger. It will likely become obsolete when the tier 90 is released.

Tier 100 isn't something that should be easily accessible aside from the masterwork weapons, (the attuned crystal could be quite the grind to get, that on its own felt time gated.) It is literally the highest tier in the game and I would expect it to be semi difficult to gather. Otherwise it may devaluate lower level content say for example the tier 95. Superior Seasinger would only seem like a logical component if they were making the new masterwork armor a tank armor.

Absolutely agree, we were talking about two different things but I did briefly covered the tier 90. This tier 90 will make the seasingers obsolete. but the tier 100 should be a challenge to make and could make seasingers not obsolete if used to craft the tier 100. Alternately what wouldn't had made the superior seasingers obsolete is if they bumped the tier up to 90. Then make the tradable version tier 85. Wouldn't it be interesting if you traded the player owned ports trader chi(used to make sea singers.) for the new seeds for the tier 90 armor?

halcyon crest
# tame tangle thanks again for hilighting the problem with making masterwork t100

Masterwork being tier 100 isn't a problem. My previous statement is technically incorrect, because right now their isn't any tier 95 for magic. It's not a problem but could potentially be a problem in the future for a combat style that does have a tier 95, but if the tier 95 is used to make the tier 100 then it not a problem at all because the armor serves a higher purpose. Also under the circumstance in which the masterwork armor is added to the game as tank armor the tier 95 >tier 100 tank in a dps situation because havoc armor (tier 95) is a dps armor whereas masterwork tank lacks that offensive power, so combat roles differ and each one has its own benefit.

jovial sage
#

For the most part tank armour is from skilling and power armour is from PvM with the latter being widely more desirable, so I don't think any of the lower tier (primal tier equivalents) are going to devalue anything

MW is power armour, but it also needs other armours like torva or malevolent so it's not devaluing the existing armours as it's using them. Things that are already 95 or would be released at 95 would survive on strong set effects that likely make them more powerful than MW (eg. dracolich I believe has a set effect strong enough that even with level 100 MW power armour it'll still be very strong)

gaunt wren
# halcyon crest Absolutely agree, we were talking about two different things but I did briefly c...

i don't think protecting an item from being obsolete by making it re-crafted for a higher tier item is a good idea as well

take nex armours as a prime example for their essences

the armours (or item) should not be obsolete because of its function and purpose it serves

just being used as an ingredient for something else, has proven to not be such a great idea most of the time for long term

if anything, why not just use chii instead?

on your other point of upgrading seasinger to t90, i also don't think it would help in making it "more useful", if that is also your intention of making an already obsolete item "not obsolete"

seasinger functionally just sucks even if you made it t90. there is cryptbloom which outright surpasses it functionally

therefore, seasinger had fallen into the category of, "if you can't afford the next best thing, you have to suffice with this"

but seasinger itself is a chore to get compared to traditional craftable items (even if magic had such an option before)

therefore, if your goal is to make it "not obsolete", which i guess is to make it "useful", then i would rather they rework its passive effect

tame tangle
#

Masterwork being t100 is a problem because of the expectations that come with the number that lead to players saying it should be better than this or more difficult to get than that.
Making something an ingredient for a better set isn't a magical solution that is always satisfying to the player experience. Releasing t95 armor to have it be sacrificed to create masterwork would be one of the worst decisions Jagex ever made. For clarification though, it won't happen for a variety of reasons, not least of which is the fact that masterwork will be released before the t95 magic armor.
Masterwork won't be tank armor, but for the record that's literally a worse position for it to be in than power, not just because a power set would be more useful, but because the competition is much more fierce for tank lol. Cryptbloom does way more for tanking than tectonic will probably ever do for dps, almost to the point where you're largely better off using crypt over tectonic. A masterwork tank set would be DOA unless it were so powerful you basically take no damage.
The t90 set will not make seasinger obselete since it is unaugmentable and seasinger is already bonus content that isn't really part of magic progression.

golden basin
#

#

tbh I think it doesn't make sense to look at specific rewards and care about whether they're obsolete, the question should be whether the contetn the rewrads come from still has a purpose

#

and ports still gives the player loads of useful stuff

#

(also oceanic comps have uses)

gaunt wren
#

i agree that ports items do have some value, because their value is intrinsically tied to their invention components. they are otherwise pretty much useless if we're looking at its function and purpose as a tank set when compared to a set a few levels higher, where you're better off training your defence 5 more levels to use it

#

admittedly, their usefulness in pvm is subjective. but i think for majority of use cases, they are really not worth the time and effort to attain and "use" for pvm

tame tangle
#

anything timegated like ports armor was always going to be obsoleted since no one expected jagex to timegate everything over level 80

#

even back in the day they were dubious since power armor was undoubtedly better

#

seasinger got animate dead, with the added 'bonus' that t80 magic tank armor doesn't exist unless you want to spend 2b on t80 gear and t90 magic tank armor was locked behind raids, but that high was sobered by cryptbloom and even during those times most people just bought gano

Forum for feedback* 😛

tame tangle
#

as for the masterwork design, they already had an idea for the masterwork design which is why they didn't ask for feedback on it, this implies that ancestral was not considered

velvet frigate
#

While they could have changed it yeah I agree

pure herald
#

i do honestly agree with the rationale of not making an iconic osrs raid reward into like

#

a training method tier of armour

tame tangle
#

and I believe breezy has explicitly said it won't be ancestral in one of the now deleted 110 channels

velvet frigate
#

Make ancestral come from havenhythe

zenith thorn
#

I'm both on team don't do zeah for years, and also at the same time thinking that ancestral should be tied to it

velvet frigate
#

It has no lore in Zeah so it doesn’t actually need to come from Zeah.

pure herald
#

yeah i just think it should come from something cool and big

#

itd be like if osrs added the bow of the last guardian but it was just a fletching training method

hoary imp
#

I am on team Zeah isn't needed. But, if we happen to need something from Zeah then the entire area is needed.

boreal saddle
#

Did they say they would add the seeds into the game before the update?

tame tangle
#

yes

boreal saddle
#

What places did they add them to?

tame tangle
#

Starbloom Seeds can be obtained from Thieving NPCs such as Master Farmers, Dwarf Traders and creatures such as Vileblooms and the Kalphite King, and of course a chance to be obtained from Shooting Stars.

#

P.S. We'll be releasing these seeds into the game ahead of the 110 Crafting release, to allow you to stock up on some supplies before update day! Look out for a news post 1-2 weeks before 110 Crafting releases for more info.

Hope they were added to a few non-combat spots.

devout ember
#

so do we know roughly how many seeds/flowers to prep?

#

@young dome are you able to let us know a ball park? like for example, a yes/no to would 100 seeds be enough?

tame tangle
#

To prep for what, the achievement for completing a full set of +5? Assuming the same numbers of finished raw material (e.g bars) as Primal, that's 384 divided by the average number of flowers you expect to get from one seed, or whatever you crazy kids are doing nowadays with using 10 seeds to do whatever I haven't planted in years

boreal saddle
#

The people who guessed the correct number of magical thread needed were able to use the new RC pouch on day 1 without having to pay the increased price of them at the time. The prices have since gone back down according to the ge market price.

jovial sage
#

They haven't gone to what they were prior

thorny nimbus
#

So what is the current betting on the flowers to cloth ratio? lot of my cc are going with either 1:1 or 5:1 with around 394 cloth in total required for the mk1-5 set

jovial sage
#

1:1

#

384 for the full +5 set

merry horizon
#

If balls of wool > strips of cloth are anything to go by it will be 2:1

#

Or was the number confirmed?

pliant obsidian
#

Im with Honour here, Im think 2:1 or 3:1 tbh

#

even at a 3:1 thats 1152 flowers which is only 96 seeds

#

Not to mention theres no gaurantee they wont eventually make something drop the cloth itself

jovial sage
#

No guarantee, just it'd go against their design philosophy by shitting on skilling

pliant obsidian
#

yeah. I dont have a problem with them getting added to a drop table or two, but the problem is, when that becomes better than farming the flowers yourself

#

Which is the biggest issue with a lot of items on tables today imo

jovial sage
#

384 cloth is also just for the trash armour that will be used as a training method rather than for the armour itself

pliant obsidian
#

the lvl 90, the one this thread is about

golden basin
#

surely 840 cloth

jovial sage
#

Why would it be 840?

golden basin
#

1 for each of the tectonic energy which will be required

pliant obsidian
#

even at a 3:1 flowers to cloth, 96 seeds is only 24 full flower runs

jovial sage
#

0 tectonic energy will be required

merry horizon
#

strips of cloth would be the equivalent to a bar, made with 2 ores

pliant obsidian
jovial sage
#

Idk if strips of cloth would be the equivalent since they aren't gathered from farming
Imphide, spidersilk, and batwing though it's all just dropped as is, Daemonheim (which is where the idea of flowers to cloth came from) is also 1:1

Changing the ratio only makes sense for balancing as there's not really a direct equivalent here to set any precedent atm, but it's also a brand new resource so there's easier ways to balance

pliant obsidian
#

thats fair. Under the assumption of 384 cloth for a full set, I imagine the highest ratio would be 3:1, so that or anything lower would be nice

jovial sage
#

The level 90 armour is trash so I doubt it'd take ages to make, masterwork might need a lot more cloth to make

pliant obsidian
#

Masterwork would probably be double the cloth of the 90, plus something else if I had to guess

jovial sage
#

My guess is 1000 cloth for masterwork, probably with more stuff too (including PvM drops)

pliant obsidian
#

With Smithing it at least made sense to fold the bars, not really sure what you could do with existing cloth to lengthen the process

jovial sage
#

Magic also doesn't have resources for 1-90 to combine so def won't do that, the masterwork staff didn't either bc there aren't resources for that

pliant obsidian
#

I wouldnt mind some form of imbuing for the armor as well

merry horizon
#

masterwork cloth will probably take like 1k vyrewatch leather or something silly like that

pliant obsidian
#

To actually give it magical properties to thematically make sense as to why some cloth is good against a sword

#

more rune sink

merry horizon
#

100k pure essence fragments

#

1k of each combination rune for imbuing

#

and 2k ground mudrunes to dust the thread to sew it together with

pliant obsidian
#

lol

#

i do like the combo rune idea tbh

#

not sure why

#

I dont really like guessing numbers but seems fine

merry horizon
#

how many thousands of polypore flakes do we anticipate?

pliant obsidian
#

0? lol

merry horizon
#

you're right, we're gonna have to cut the outfit pieces into mycelial strips instead

mystic zinc
#

just wondering will making gano equipment finally drop to a reasonable level to craft? its needs 98 crafting for a t75 magic set its really bad for ironman mode.

velvet frigate
tame tangle
#

I vaguely recall something like that but I have nothing to cite

#

at the very least someone else remembers so it must be true

mystic zinc
#

thats good if does get a level drop. now i dont know if they also talked about this (just coming back after taking a break) but since they are making the magic masterwork armor like the melee variant will you need 99 craft to make it, and 90 deff to wear it? cause i saw it said t100 armor but the melee version is t90 with trimmed t92

tame tangle
#

it will be in line with the recent masterwork weapons rather than masterwork melee armor

#

an upgrade to masterwork melee armor was entertained but no word on if it's happening for sure

jovial sage
#

Do we know the names of the +5 armour yet? Like melee uses +1, +2, etc up to +5. Ranged weapons it's Mk.1, Mk.2, etc. Magic weapons use names like meagre, weak, up to saturated.
Which method do starbloom robes use?

merry horizon
#

Ratty, regular, resplendid and fabulous

#

Surely

gaunt wren
#

dunno why it couldn't have been kept consistent and just stuck with "+X"

pliant obsidian
#

I like mk.5 better tbh

jovial sage
#

I think +X was too game mechanicy so they went with Mk. X for ranged weapons to make it feel more in universe, but that doesn't really fit the theme of a magic weapons being empowered
