#Flinch / Aim Punch - Feedback

ah the argument of someone in a corner "send me links, I have no idea what the internet is"
the first was 480, the second was 1080.
so you got one right
either way
You're lying through the skin of your teeth lmao.
you specifically said that you were talking about the orgional releases.
"I have evidence, but you go look it up."
If you make the claim of flinch existing, it's up to you to back it up.
find your own, instead of just the ones that might agree with me, like a good little investigator.
nah lol
If you make a claim of headshot prioritization not existing when given proof, it's up to you to back it up.
That's like the basics of debate and argumentation.
you would simply claim the sources biased
I am not going to prove a negative.
like always
so go find your own.
if this was a mediated debate, I would give you links because they would be subbstantiated. but we are not
and you would jsut claim foul anyway
You're literally making shit up to "win an argument" lmao.
Don't lump me in with you lmao.
Anyways, this topic was derailed. So back to the matter at hand. A large portion of players hate Aim Punch. There was an uproar about waaay back when it was first implemented, where those that hated the mechanic outnumbered those in support. It turns gunfights to RNG, and just does not feel good. Even Apex removed that recently, and as for their reasons listed in their own patch notes:
Dev Note: Let's be honest, no one really had love for Aim Flinch. We’ve made the call to eliminate it from all weapons and most Legend abilities. However there are some Legend abilities that do benefit from the added feedback like dunking on someone with a Newcastle ult. We’ll keep an eye on abilities that may need additional feedback as we see how this change affects the game.
it does need to exist, becuase being able to be beemed by someone you shot first because they have a better weapon is not fun. Shooting a sniper who is able to simply headshot you anyway is also not fun.
mitigation by armor class might now be possible, and even then it should be a small amount of flinch that is only amplified by magnification.
that said, it might be best to only be an initial aim flinch, like first impact only
giving a slight advantage, but something that won't effect a longer fight
Now I understand why you're lapping up what the developer implemented. True to your name.
What?
the hell you on about now, guess you like nothing but the meta weapons then.
Anyway, Aim punch was liked when it supposed to only be on snipers. then it came for everyone. If you like losing because you didn't bring out something meta, that's on you. If you like snipers being able to ignore your hits on them to still snipe you, then you are alone in your thoughts.
It sounds like you have been having a ruff ruff time with snipers.
not really
I rarely die to them honestly
unless I be stupid and challenge them while they are looking at me. easily avoidable.
and you "dog" jokes are really stupid lol. heard em all before by ignorant people.
cause apex apperently
Hey what are you barking at me for? I just says it how I sees it. 🤠
Isn't that your age in dog years?
wow, that one was worse lol.
you genuinely suck at making jokes
at least make them funny
Lmao this is a dead topic, flinch hasn't been a thing for months
Like as a topic or as a mechanic?
Both
I last played in May, and then some time before that.
I swear its there, but its so small you likelly wont see it unless using a 6x or higher
It's there but it's basically useless
So, it's still there. -_-
it affects snipers and long range guys at best.
you said yourself you don't play sniper. why do you care?
It doesn't really affect snipers at all
Not unless you're shooting across the map
Even then, you're not going to be hit in return
hence "effects snipers"
So it never occurs
it does occasionally, especially if you are standing, you flinch a few inches if hit
