The oldest sprite is typically used as the main sprite, unless it’s determined the old one is much lower quality sometimes

Doubles are placed in the doubles folder

And they contain a letter after the 2 numbers, which must be removed if you wish to use that sprite in the game

yeah, but unfortunately the peeps who wanted old spritework were a minority, and anytime people give feedback here it turns into a confusing mess (e.g. just now the totodile eyes feedback beinf repeated, and the kecleon-gastly getting conflicting feedback bc it was posted in both channels) so its better to stick to just 1 system (at least for now)

plus the threads allows for way easier management, its easy for me to keep track of the sprites that get abandonned and send reminders to people

all these sprites deino posts are taken from spritework to begin with, meaning they already meet the requirement of having been posted there. some of the feedback the sprites got back then might not be applied to it but no spriter is forced to take on all the feedback they get, so if we the sprite managers (at least 3/4) think it meets the quality requirements of the gallery we post it as is without goig through a 2nd round of feedback
