As a rule of thumb, the fusion looks left, even if it isn't facing left (like in Mawile's case). Make sure to adjust the eyes accordingly.

Hey @mint lichen! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

I'm confused about #dex-entries-submissions . I know it's generally frowned upon to just replace existing sprites, what's the guidelines on replacing one that doesn't follow the head/body guidelines correctly like all the bidoofs in there now, for example?

Head/body guidelines are a.... STRONG suggestion, but they can be waived and stretched a bit sometimes
