I usually think in what kind of mon I’d like to sprite, a dragon, a rocky monster, one with fire, etc, and the I start looking on the calculator any fusion that catch my attention (that doesn’t already have a custom sprite), then I mix the concepts of both in an attempt to use both mons aesthetics for the fusion, so I finally start working on the sprite with the idea I created

Depending on the concept I ended up, I search for a sprite that fits the concept, if I don’t find one, I look for a custom sprite some else made, and if those neither fit, I search for some oficial art of the Pokémon and make an custom sprite myself

Step 3:Try making it cool
