I’ve managed to set up an easy way of checking what all of the natural evolution lines in the game are!

It makes use of the (incredible but sadly outdated) Pokémon Fusion Line Checker made by @SylviBlossom.
I had to update it to include all of the new Pokémon that have been added since last year as well as modifying certain aspects for various reasons, but it should be working as intended now.

That said, it doesn’t show whether or not the fusions have custom sprites, but it’s much simpler to just check on Daena anyways:

• Go to the website,
• Find the head of the evolution line,
• Click on “Fusions as Head”,
• And set “Order by:” to “Evolution Order”.

If you’re on a mobile device such as a phone or an iPad, there’s some pixel art apps you could try. (Personally I haven’t been a fan of any of the ones I’ve tried tho)
If you’re on a PC, you have a lot more options. Based on my own experience, I’d recommend Libresprite or Aseprite.

Since there's currently a character customization contest, I thought I'd make a quick visual guide to getting started based on my own observations/(limited) experience.
Hopefully it can be of use!

Some misc tips as well:

• You don't need to customize/include things like the pokeball, bike, or fishing rod from the CC templates, those are just for reference.
• Hair should have four color variants using palettes provided alongside the templates. However, you can include other colors for things like hairbands, small pins, or partially-dyed hair.

And here are some really useful resources that I'd suggest checking out:

• Black 2/White 2 Trainer Sprites (with parts)

It's about comparing the sprites to each other though, not about a more abstract artistic merit. Therefore ranking charts are filled out top down. There's no reason to leave empty spaces and put people in F tiers because that's just insulting tbh

I mean it’s all relative. If the judge deems the entries to not be of substantially different quality to warrant additional tiers then that’s that. Also as I said, the C and D tiers do get used, so B was never the “F tier” to begin with

And tbh having E and F tiers would be kind of excessive when the only events that use tier lists are weeklies with only a handful of entries typically anyways

Sprite Bingo lasts all month, Spritedoku lasts 2 weeks

The sfx and texture awards are both 2 weeks

(and none of those are limited on how many people can enter)

the letters after the second number are used when there are multiple sprites for the exact same fusion. Each sprite must have its own unique identifier so each one must have a different letter if one sprite already existed for that fusion.
