I hate this mentality, the more you make friends with other people the more likely you will be to get feedback when they see your name!

but anyways I'm so surprised that baile is most popular, I picked it because it matched really well with the other pokemon I wanted to work with but I totally thought that purple would be most common!

A big thing for me is that there have been several times I've hopped into a thread, me and a couple other people give feedback, and then the OP never responds in the thread and just posts their sprite to the gallery without so much as responding to the feedback. Giving feedback takes time, and it's a bit of a crapshoot whether that feedback is even acknowledged

spending 40 minutes on feedback to get an reply back saying, "this good?" two minutes later is also irritating, like- why am i spending more time on an example than you're spending on the finished product? 😛

Oh no is that me ^^; Sometimes once stuff gets pointed out it's easy to fix, or at least it seems like it is. But that's usually because the feedback is so on point

Usually I just say something new and then mention it offhandedly as a "oh yeah, this is also a thing" since sometimes folks do miss stuff, especially if they're getting a lot of feedback at once

One thing that gets me is when someone posts a really cool wip in #spriter-general , i tell them to make a thread in #1050404143807873157 and then ill give it some feedback and they just... never do. I mean hey if you changed your mind fair enough but damm that actually looked pretty promising and i had things i wanted to say about it.

this is super specific and probably not useful info wise but

im collecting all of the amounts of heart mail/reacts each contestant gets in #1050404143807873157 as well as #sprite-gallery (if they post there) and comparing it with the scores they get with the contest

when those come out, anyways

i might start doing this to pass the time between contests starting and ending so i dont die of boredom for every mini

this isnt really a "oh this is their votes" way, but rather to see what the community likes in comparison to what the mods enjoy
