Just finished a Mono-Fire run, the third monotype run I finish and 5th time I finish this game, after about a year of not playing ; and like last time, I'm gonna write a paragraph about my mons for what they do :D

• Galvankoal (Galvantula / Torkoal, Bug / Fire) is my lead most of the time, with both sticky web and stealth rock for entry hazard, and drought to put the sun up ; it's trained in HP and DEF EVs and has Will-o-Wisp to act as my defensive wall, and finally has flamethrower as an offensive move.

• Typhgar (Typhlosion / Gengar, Fire / Poison) is just here to do a lot of damage as a fast Eruption pokemon, and is trained in SP.ATK and Speed EVs to maximise damage ; also having Levitate gives it free switch-ins and is my ground immunity on this team. the rest of the movepool is sludge bomb, shadow ball and destiny bond, but it was rarely used-

• Charvoir (Charizard / Gardevoir, Fire / Fairy) is here as a Solar Power mon that can heal itself back up with Draining Kiss ; also trained in SP.ATK and Speed EVs, it has Calm Mind to set up (might be weird considering Solar Power makes it take damage, but this is why Draining Kiss is here), with Flamethrower and Stored Power for the rest of the movepool.

• Blasopod (Blaziken / Golisopod, Fire / Water) is basically a regular Blaziken but way more bulky ; with Sword Dance, and Protect to trigger more Speed Boost, finishing up with Blaze Kick and Liquidation for his offensive moves. It's fully trained in ATK EVs, but has some Speed EVs and some DEF EVs as well.

• Exeggunine (Exeggutor / Arcanine, Fire / Grass) is here because I kinda really wanted to use the Harvest ability ; letting it heal back up with its Aguav Berry that will come back at the end of every turn because of the permanent sun ; combined with Leech Seed and Substitute, that lets it take problematic mons :D finishing the moveset with Solar Beam and Flamethrower, and trained to have max HP EVs, and then some DEF and some SP.ATK EVs.

• and lastly, Aegitei (Aegislash / Entei, Fire / Steel) is... kinda here because I noticed all my mons were weak to Rock, and so looked at my boxes right before the league, noticed I had that free honedge, and trained / fused it with the Entei I had just caught ; it's trained in ATK and SP.DEF IVs with Flash Fire as its ability in case I needed to counter a mon that would use my own sun against me, and has Sacred Fire, Iron Head, Swords Dance and King's Shield as its move.

Honorable Mention to my Magmorturne (Magmar / Cacturne, Fire / Dark with Water Absorb) that was in my team most of the run, but I noticed I didn't really need a Water Immunity with the Sun active most of the time and two pokemon neutral to water, so I switched him out last minute for Aegitei ; his design was pretty cool, at least... and also a Oricorio / Gyarados I used in the early game, which was pretty good-

That might be a good idea, the reason I went with shedinja is because it is one of my favorite pokemon. the reason being that when I played x, I found out that I could use karbink to give it sturdy on my own, which gave me a sense of accomplishment.
The Reason I am using snorlax is mainly because of the typing and stats. Swapping it with another normal type is something I am totaly open to do.

It was actually quite a fight for who would get a spot on the final team, some great fusions to pick from. The Flygon/Magcargo ended up playing just a single turn throughout the whole game haha whoops.

this all started with a dream where i got forced to be edited into a ghost powers using super soldier stealing important documents for a revolution, and finding out the one in charge is a giant squid like entity controlling the entire facility. so yeah, ghost run, team is quite overpowered, so we'll blame the giant squid thing. giovanni's gym was the only defeat due to he played it smart and put my misrona to sleep. second time misrona swept him alone, so definitely a good reason to put her to sleep.

NGL, triple fusions are booty. The only reason I beat this elite four level capped is because of my Shedrai. Gen one starter fusion was just to throw leach seed, gen three legend fusion was just to tank with leech seed, aqua ring and bulk up with Outrage + Persim berry. Shedrai was for reviving and healing my team.

Adrian Corsica done. kind of just searched the region for pokemon i thought he might catch. everyone but Bruno gave him a hard time in elite 4, and his luck versus confuse ray and paralyze is not good. pretty sure the bots knew to use them on him. fairy run is next, which will either go great or they get slapped around by poison.

It was actually incredibly good! Slurpuff learns Fake Tears so I used that throughout the playthrough until it learned Nasty Plot

Slurpuff also learns Surf, Energy Ball, and Thunderbolt which gives it really good coverage

Draining Kiss isnt the strongest attack but it provided a lot of survivability

and Dark/Fairy isnt too bad of a typing if I say so myself, at least against the league

Hadn't played in over a year so figured I'd go for a 100% run on Remix Hard mode rather than Randomized for once. Caught every mon on every route with the only restriction being that I had to fuse the mons I caught after 2-3 routes with no unfusing.
Spent 20 hours reaching the E4, an extra 10 hours of just evolving my 8 boxes full of fusions to find the best sprites among them, these were the final selection.

in random runs, you either get a strong challenge or every npc has babies. the only ground type counter against me was bruno, but mvp kyogre/ampharos did enough damage to his unevolved ground types to win. most gyms i fought either were weak to my team or not resistant, which made it less fun. my electric types need challenge!
kyogre/ampharos (quite strong as it tanked an earthquake from a baby and took out a lot of enemies)
pompom oricorio/gardevoir (mostly doing the cheerleading work)
volcarona/jolteon (brock gave me flamethrower before showing up to steel type misty, so i think brock hates misty in this universe)
luxray/venusaur (useful for dealing with rival who had a lanturn. my only pokemon with grass moves.)
cresselia/magnezone (i 100% chose cresselia as a starter so my rival won't have it)
jirachi/electivire (looks like he'd be in sonic)

side notes: i might do dragon types later as random mode keeps making them appear. regardless, can my opponent please evolve their pokemon!

dragonborn run done. talked to greybeards (dragon dojo in saffron), got bullied by a baby in agatha's water team, and kicked delphine to the curb. this random mode didn't throw a ton of dragons like the last two, meaning i must get dragons when i don't want dragons.

flygon/metagross (fairy killer)
kyurem/palkia (disappointed that glaciate is weaker than ice beam)

Azula here (not from avatar) had zero losses, but the rival i named Mom was almost a winner against her. the biggest worry i had was Lance's rock/flying, but an ice beam crit denied him to use rock moves. as far as any articuno lovers, i am sorry but rotom/volcarona one shot it into oblivion.
torkoal/lapras (very tanky and beat up the majority of victory road trainers)
rotom/volcarona (doesn't know mercy)
ninetales/sceptile (strong enough to take on gym leaders in early game so i could get more fire types)
chandelure/umbreon (my main poison and fighting killer as i lack other pokemon with psychic)
goodra/magcargo (needed a rock type for certain pesky flying types)
fearow/talonflame (spearow helped me in early game so i fused it with a fire type later)

side notes: the spearow was due to a certain bug trainer in viridian forest. my rules do allow me to use a non-fire outside gyms, but for gyms, rival, and elite 4, it needs to be fused with fire. fortunately pokeradar is before second badge, so it wasn't long until my bird saw gym action.
