This run has a steep curve in the beginning where you mostly have to rely on Confusion rng to get around Grass/Poison and Grass/Steel types, then things get tedious, then the E4 dropkicks you out of nowhere.
meet:

• Hawkweed (for quicksightedness) [Parasect/Whimsicott] - aka, the Prankster Spore user. Also had Strength Sap, Flash, and Leech Seed. Kept Tailwind for a long while to help set up Me Firsts later on. Also had a Rocky Helmet.
• Lychnis (for wit) [Altaria/Golduck] - aka, the one who could actually attack via Mirror Move and Me First. I wasn't sure about keeping both, but it helps if he's not always faster than his opponent. Also had Perish Song (to kill Big Bird) and Soak (legit one of the best moves, especially for this type of run.) Also had Natural Cure, which I mostly forgot about but was a welcome surprise.
• Geranium (for ingenuity) [Electrode/Ariados] - was waiting for Toxic Thread, but tbh, Sticky Web got a lot more use. Unfortunately she wasn't fast or bulky enough to get much use out of Venom Drench or Magnet Rise, but did skirt a few Earthquakes with the latter.
• Rhododendron (for danger) [Klefki/Arbok] - my other Prankster user. Had Gastro Acid to knock annoying abilities from any Grass types, and had Glare and Toxic. Heal Block made a few fights less annoying. Held Black Sludge.
• Wolfsbane (for chivalry i think? i can't seem to find the entry in my floriography book) [Banette/Hawlucha]. A late addition. Had Embargo for a while, but I wasn't really using it, so I swapped it to Flash because I kept dying to Lance. Also had Roost, Will-o-Wisp, and Curse. Brought him in because I wanted a Mold Breaker for the rival's Magic Bounce reunieon, but ended up doing Destiny Bond there anyway.
• Cedar (for strength) [Roserade/Crobat]. The fastest of the non-Pranksters. Was another Toxic user and Toxic Spikes setter for a while, but ended up having Confuse Ray, Worry Seed, Aromatherapy, and Leech Seed.

Rampardos/Aerodactyl: A monster with STAB recoilless Head Smash + Double-Edge and Earthquake. Even later got Swords Dance to boost up, though it usually couldn't as it's unsurprisingly paper frail
Ferrothorn/Salamence: Ice/Rock answer. Mono-attacking Dragon Dancer with Iron Head, Roost to heal and Leech Seed in case I think it can get away with it. Also has Intimidate to help faciliate a sweep
Magmortar/Dragonite: Another Ice answer. Uses Agility and hits hard with STAB Flamethrower + Hurricane. Later gave it Earthquake as well to make it more of a mixed attacker. Has Multiscale so it can maybe survive a Rock move
Gyarados/Ninjask: Last Ice answer. Has Water STAB + EdgeQuake. Super frail, especially on the physical side, but it's swept entire teams powered by Moxie, especially if it manages to get in a Swords Dance first. Blazingly fast, as expected of any Ninjask fusion
Hydreigon/Yanmega: Very strong with Speed Boost and great coverage in STABs + Earth Power and Flash Cannon
Palossand/Togekiss: Electric answer. Bulky with Shore Up for reliable recovery, Nasty Plot to set up and STABs to blow things up

Ya boy Admiral Eggman out here with another HoF entry. I decided to challenge myself by allowing a team that can only be caught BEFORE Brock. So anything from Route 1 all the way to Route 3 is fair play, but any mons beyond that isn't allowed. This is a lot harder in Classic compared to Remix where you can just nab OP stuff like Larvesta and Riolu, so I went with Classic. It forced me to use some mons that are generally weak like Beedrill and Pidgeot and maximize their use. I didn't actually use anything found in Route 3 (including the OP Gyarados option), but did use their HAs to swap them onto my mons.

From left to right:
• Poryking (Normal/Ground), where Porygon is found via the PC encounter, and Nidoran is found in Route 22 just west of Viridian. High special attack, Sheer Force Life Orb, even special walls had trouble tanking.
• Pidlee (Flying/Fighting), where Pidgey is found in Route 1, and Tyrogue can be obtained via an NPC trade in Pewter City. This thing was actually the dark horse of the run because of access to Reckless High Jump Kick and Brave Bird, powered by Choice Band to destroy anything in its path.
• Charlantis (Fire/Grass), where Charmander was my starter, and Lurantis is a static encounter in Route 2 in the flowers. Leaf Storm and Superpower Contrary shenanigans with solid typing and reliable recovery made for a bulky and powerful sweeper.
• Beeroc (Bug/Rock), where Rockruff can be found via the egg in the Secret Garden by Route 1, and Weedle can be found in Viridian Forest. I expected this thing to be weak, but with Scope Lens Sniper and access to all crit moves like Attack Order, Stone Edge and Drill Run gave very good results. I used Focus Energy for setup until I got Swords Dance in Victory Road.
• Polichu (Water/Electric), where Poliwag can be found at night in the north side of Route 2 and Pichu can be found in Viridian Forest. Unsurprisingly the MVP, Light Ball power (thanks Compound Eyes Butterfree) with Drizzle Thunder and Surf annihilated most things that stood in the way and I had Nasty Plot just in case.
• Umbodor (Dark/Poison), where Eevee can be found in Secret Garden and Trubbish can be found as a static encounter in a trash can. This was my defensive stall mon, Toxic + healing w/ only one weakness. This was mainly to deal w/ setup mons or other bulky walls.

Thanks to Hitmonchan/slaking Who beat the Elite four with Lorelei and her Ice type (the only one who by chance keep her type), Bruno his Normal type, Agatha and her fighting type and finally Peter with his powerful Rock type)

A pretty good wall but played a very similar role to Blissey/Forretress and played second fiddle.

Goodra/Scolipede (Sino's suggestion)
A solid attacker with glare and baton pass for utility. Outrage and eq were good for hitting hard when needed.

Kanghaskhan/Sableye (Just A Dude's suggestion)
The team's main support with prankster/will-o-wisp. While not very bulky, landing burns became critical against strong physical attackers.

Noivern/Gardevoir (Mich's suggestion)
THE special attacker. Boomburst, moonblast and psychic handled any non-steel and could even sneak a couple calm mind boosts with smart positioning.

Rhyperior/Meloetta-P (My suggestion)
Meant to patch holes created by the others and be the team's heavy hitter. Went with eq, ice punch, drain punch and U-turn for coverage. The one tasked with having good matchups against steels before Goodra/Scolipede got eq

Blissey/Forretress (Tad's suggestion)
THE wall with the typical Blissey set. Most notably held off against Zapdos and Articuno after Moltres was finished off.

Goodra/Garchomp: Water/Grass answer. Essentially just regular Garchomp but trades some power, speed and physical bulk for better special defense, Sap Sipper and better coverage in Fire Punch
Marowak/Scizor: 2nd Grass answer. STAB Technichan-boosted Bonemerang, with a Thick Club and an actually decent attack stat on top of that obliterates anything that isn't immune/resistant or has truly insane physical bulk. Can boost itself further with Swords Dance, has Technichan Bullet Punch for STAB priority and Double Kick because why not
Krookodile/Weavile: My 3rd Swords Dancer; Goochomp was the decently fast and bulky one, Marozor was the nuke. This is the fast and strong glass cannon, with Moxie and an insane STAB combination. Ice Shard lets it freely revenge things that might outspeed it or also might have priority
Magmortar/Quagsire: Water answer. I love when an ability turns what's normally a x4 weakness into an immunity. Has great coverage with STABs + Thunderbolt, and Recover for... well, recovery. Its stats are just okay but it hits just hard enough and has just enough bulk to where it never felt like a liability
Volcarona/Nidoking: 3rd Grass answer. Quiver Dancer with Sheer Force-boosted STABs + Ice Beam. An absolute monster
Gengar/Dugtrio: Needed a faster special attacker as Magsire is slow as mud and Volcaking isn't exactly speedy before a QD. Very fast with good power and great coverage in STABs, Sludge Wave and Energy Ball

Admiral Eggman back again with some borderline illegal shenanigans, all courtesy of Smeargle transferring Sketch relearning onto my mons. From left to right:

• Charantis (Charizard/Lurantis): Fire/Grass, abusing Contrary Overheat (had to get from lv. 61 Litwick), Leaf Storm, Close Combat, and Roost. Special wallbreaker with access to bulk and recovery + Leftovers and good typing makes this thing near impossible to deal with.
• Genkazam (Gengar/Alakazam): Ghost/Psychic, embodying the Eggman spirit with Shell Smash, STAB Stored Power, Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere. Pretty frail but an absolute unit, especially w/ Magic Guard negating Life Orb damage.
• Azumawak (Azumarill/Marowak): Water/Ground, you know where this is going. Except you don't. On top of Thick Club + Huge Power, it has the STAB Crabhammer and Bonemerang, Diancie's Diamond Storm, and Klink's Shift Gear. Good bulk and masive setup options, as well as a coin flip to increase Defense? This is probably my favorite mon here.
• Sylchu (Sylveon/Pikachu): Fairy/Electric, the most insane nuke alongside Azumawak. Pixilate Boomburst makes it Fairy STAB with another 1.2x boost, and it also has Thunderbolt and Earth Power. Quiver Dance is really what makes this thing so unstoppable though. Hit A on Boomburst and win, ez money.
• Ramdactyl (Rampardos/Aerodactyl): Rock/Flying, didn't get to enjoy this one as much because Aerodactyl is late-game, but with Rock Head, its arsenal of Head Smash, Brave Bird, Flare Blitz and Wood Hammer, couple by Choice Band, mauled anyone in its path.
• Making (Machamp/Slaking): Fighting/Normal, the only thing lame about this guy is the name. But STAB Facade boosted by Flame Orb Guts, along with Close Combat and Darkest Lariat, and also having Shift Gear to setup, is a terrifying threat under any circumstances.

For those wondering how these mons have moves they shouldn't have, I got Smeargle from the Saffron City quests (the music one and the Copycat girl right after who gives you Smeargle), breeded a few more w/ a Ditto (because you can't use the same Smeargle to do this trick; you need several Smeargle for this) fused it with one of the halves of these fusions (make sure Smeargle is the BODY), DNA Reverse it, unfuse, and then go to the move relearner for Sketch. Whatever move I needed, I'd get from whichever mon had it, enter a double battle, then Sketch the partner Pokemon. Rinse and repeat for the whole team and then fuse back together.

Shedinja+hydreigon lets you no-brain the elite 4. heavy investment since he doesnt evolve until level 60+ but dude is a monster with workup, crunch, spirit shackle (I think thats the name) and any steel move you can give it for fairy coverage.

Its a gamble keeping him in against a fairy though cuz he doesnt have the highest speed. Its not bad and you mostly go first, but not always.

Lanturn/Gliscor: Electric/Grass answer. Great physical bulk with Crabhammer for STAB, Swords Dance for setup, Toxic for stalling and Roost for recovery. Volt Absorb means its only weak to Rock
Gyarados/Haxorus: 2nd Electric/Grass answer. Dragon Dancer with STABs + Earthquake. Respectable bulk + Intimidate gives it plenty of setup opportunities
Sylveon/Toxapex: Great mixed wall without being passive. Has decent special attack with good STABs in Moonblast and Surf. Recover and Baneful Bunker give it plenty of longevity. Often took on the Fighting types that a certain other teammate didn't like
Azumarill/Scizor: 3rd Grass answer. Great typing and good bulk with Huge Power. Has dual STAB priority moves in Bullet Punch and Aqua Jet, as well as Crabhammer for a delete button and Swords Dance to make its attack skyrocket
Greninja/Gengar: Final Grass answer and starter. Protean coverage monster with STABs + BoltBeam. Fast glass cannon
Blissey/Pyukumuku: Felt unkillable, especially on the special side. Has Unaware so things can't just set up on it, and hits surprisingly hard with STAB Hyper Voice. Additionally has Toxic to stall, Soft-Boiled for recovery and Baton Pass to act as a slow pivot

Panu, Charizard/Lucario (Fire/Steel). Carried the mid game alot. Soloed all of Lorelei but couldn't take a hit
Super Soaker, Kyogre/Vaporeon (Pure Water). Absolutely destroyed the E4. Almost soloed the Champion, soloed Lance. Pretty tanky too + had aqua ring for heals
Salem, Mismagius/Sceptile (Ghost/Grass). Pretty alright pokemon. Did very well against Bruno and Giovanni. One of my favorite guys
Tricky, Gourgeist/Luxray (Ghost/Electric). Also pretty decent, absolutely demolished flying types. And decently bulky
Ramsy, Darkrai/Whimsicott (Dark/Fairy). An absolute GOD. Could chip down anything with enough time. Never died. The combination of Leech Seed, Hypnosis, Bad Dreams, and Mega Drain never let her die. Could have given her nightmare too but I had Feint Attack. Very fast and had decent SPA too. But couldn't take too much dmg, yet she never had to.

Will eventually beat gold on this file too because I love these guys

post-Mt Silver Status Moves Only
Only real shakeup from last time was swapping out Geranium for Cress the carbink/clefable, who proved invaluable against the champion by being Rock type, setting Light Screens, and spamming Cosmic Powers. Very useful when he has so many Fire types
Of the final E4, Lance and Bruno gave me the most trouble because so much of my team is weak to Flying and Fire moves. Usually it was the tag team of Hawkweed (parasect/whimsicott), Lychnis (altaria/golduck), and Cress who stayed them.
I probably could have swapped out Cedar (roserade/crobat) for something with more coverage, but Confuse Ray did prove useful, Aromatherapy was nice, and I liked having a back-up ability remover in Worry Seed.
My final shakeups were in movesets, actually. Lychnis went from having Perish Song (vestigial from Bigger Bird) to Roar (to stop Bruno's rhyniclus from setting Stealth Rock), to Rain Dance to counteract Drought; and Rhododendron (klefki/arbok) replaced Glare for Substitute. He also had Toxic, so there wasn't much use for Glare, and being able to stave off supereffective Fire and Ground moves into piecemeal damage was invaluable. Was also my other ability suppressor with Gastro Acid.
Lessee... Wolfsbane's (banette/hawlucha) the only one I haven't mentioned yet, I think. Don't think I ended up using Curse, as that's pretty risky when you're facing opponents this strong, but was able to stall with Roost and Flash.
Focused more on stall tactics this turn at the E4 than attempting Mirror Move, Me First, or Metronome.

So, this run started last year, and I spent a lot more time then I'd like to admit on this attempt so here it goes

Expert Mode IF completed, a ludicrously difficult run that made me choose power over favorites, but I did bring as many little friends as possible
Early Game was a nightmare with 102 Base Power Frustrations all over the place, Mid Game featured and insane collection of mons that were disgusting to deal with, and the elite 4 was the sweatiest I've ever seen. so I had to play out of my mind and spend way too much time leveling up and handling threats. But I'll quit the banter and get to the shout outs

Early Game
Shoutouts to @flat pecan Meowth/Nidoking, @simple plaza Pyukumuku/Beedrilll, and the absolute goat of early game @sly mural Oricorio Sensu/Fearow. Literally couldn't get through this game without it, Sniper Air Cutter and immunity to normal actually gave me the courage to complete this run

@sonic surge Umbreon/Aegislash the mon that stayed on the team the longest from Rock Tunnel and onwards, great with Swords Dance, Kings Shield, Night Slash and Shadow Sneak. @what_a_sheep (another one gone) Got this just before E4 as a replacement to Gyarados and huge clutch for E4 with Double Team, Toxic, Flash Cannon, and Moonblast. @stuck sphinx Zapdos/Golem a really good mon, was gonna be a Marowak but couldn't get Thick Club, set up Rocks and guaranteed kills with Sturdy Zip Zap, Earthquake, Rock Blast, Stealth Rocks. @raw beacon Volcarona/Mew replacement for Alakazam, I donated so much money for this little guy, Quiver Dance, Roost, Psychic, Bug Buzz, absolutely carried my little wimp ass. @supple spruce Blastoise/Heracross revenge killer goat, got me some clutch moments that kept the run alive, Aqua Tail, Aqua Jet, Close Combat, Protect. and finally @rancid acorn and @trim ginkgo Entei/Weavile I thought this would do more I'm ngl but it unfort did not, but it was still very important as a back up, Sacred Fire, Flame Charge, Ice Punch, Hone Claws.

The Comeback Run (named so because I "come back" to this game after a long time) is finished!!!

Quick team overview:

• "Lightning" (Togekiss/Mimikyu) is a good-ass setup Pokemon, Disguise allowing her to get away with one Nasty Plot, into massively damaging, near-unresisted coverage with Fairy/Ghost? Hell yeah.
• Dorian (Venusaur/Donphan) only came about because I really wanna use Donphan on a run, and combining two slow mons into one big damage boy seems about right. Outside of Ice deleting it's existence, it's pretty much a tanky guy. Though not as tanky as the only other boy in this team but we'll get to him soon
• Theodora (Flareon/Bewear) is potent, as expected of any time you fuse Flareon with anything that has, you know, a move pool. It's a bit of a rip-off that I didn't get Fluffy while fusing Flareon with Bewear but at the same time Flash Fire surprisingly saved Theodora a ton so yeah. Other than that, it's a surprisingly bulky physical mon too, she's able to shrug off a good amount of attacks that would've killed at least one of the other speedy physical attacker of this team. Speaking of-
• Amelie (Lycanroc/Luxray) is the aggressive mon of the team. Just being able to clean sweep every opponent's mon with the coverage of Wild Charge/Rock Slide/Crunch is unbeatable, on top of a minty fresh 116 base ATK. Unfortunately, being Electric/Rock on top of a shoddy Defense stat means 50% of things crunches her, or at least put her on 10% HP...which still means getting crunched, I sure love it when any good Physical Electric move demands blood sacrifice.
• Norbert (Mr. Mime/Probopass) meanwhile, is the defensive mon of the team. Filter surprisingly does a lot of work, especially with a mon that only has 2x weakness. With Leftovers, Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave galore, he's pretty much able to stall out a lot of mon, more than I thought, really.
• Venus (Milotic/Hydreigon) is also peak aggressive mon, but special. Having a good defensive stats and Aqua Ring surprisingly also makes her a great defensive mon too. Water/Dragon, would try again, 10/10.

Togerona: Fairy fire type (the second best unused dual type combination in the main game) with serene grace you get guaranteed speical ttack boost 80 bp fire move in fiery dance and moonblast has 60 percent chance to lower special defense. Can get out of hand with quiver dance

Blishslash: ghost normal with only 1 weakness with 190 100 140 bulk makes giratinas bulk look like a joke

dragatei: Fire dragon type with mutliscale and also pretty bulky making it super easy to get dragon dances of and sweep

Tangela and vaporeon and jolten and crobat are very good early game mons you can get with 500 bst

it's design is really busy which can clash easily with fusion elements
