Accidentally pressed the wrong button at the Hall of Fame so had to grab a screenshot from the PC, but run number 8 is finished!

This was a well balanced team. My starter was Sliggoo (randomized) so it took some time to get it off the ground but once I fused with Turtwig it started to get better moves and things took off. But everyone was really able to hold their own. Even the Umbreon/Espeon fusion which I didn’t pick up until Celadon so it had a bit of catching up to do still cooked. I think this is the first run I’ve gone the whole game without my whole team dying at least once (usually to my rival, I got lucky with his randomized Pokémon this time)

this was my team on elite 4 rematch. I usually impose myself a few rules. On this run I could only catch the first pokemon in each area, unless for trades, and i never run legendaries (are goodra and aegislash legendaries? 🤔). I will probably run a randomizer to be able to get diferent team and some more dificult run.

This is the most stressful run I've ever done. I only got my third mon on the team after Rock Tunnel.
Gen 4 has so many evos but not base mons in this game

This was a E4 rematch after the post game, but apparently Expert mode doesn't change the E4 or Gym rematch battles and they're just the same as classic mode, so Moxie Electimence with Life Orb swept everyone with little resistance. The Mt. Silver battles were very intense though. My goal was to use most of my favorite mons from previous runs, like Drought Venutales, Levitate Hycruel, and Magic Bounce Volcapeon. Also, Dhelmklang is really cool, Ghost/Steel typing and Steelworker getting effectively double STAB on it's unique Steel moves with Shift Gear support. Lastly, Togecune is just really really solid with good defenses, offence, and good typing; Serene Grace Scald with STAB is very satisfying.
