4th Run Finished
After I got an Slaking Ho-Oh Fusion in my last Johto Part and never got to use him properly at the end I decided to do a new Run with that Fusion as a Starter and that thing is stupid strong .... And I mean STUPID strong .... Soloed the Bird Fusion with him and nearly whole Top4 if I wanted to!
That Dragonite/Leafeon Fusion was in my Team since Vertania Forest and helped quite a lot in the beginning, in the later game he was just in the Team cause he was kinda high leveld ...
The three Fusions with Dialga/Palkia, Zekrom/Reshiram and Darkrai/Salamance where all added kinda late, found most of them in that burned laboratory and cause I never had a Zekrom in my first Runs I totaly wanted to fuse it with Reshiram! I think U can get the same Fusion in the Johto Part but that's postgame if I remember right.
And then there is one of the most beautiful Fusions I ever came across - Jirachi / Chandelure ! And it has awesome SpAtk for some Will-O Hex shenanigans

also you can check roles and what they mean in #roles

oh actually forgot another rule, not sure if it's and optional rule or not but the linked pokemon can't be the same. so for example, if you choose charmander as your starter, the other person can't pick charmader, they must pick squirtle or bulbasaur (same with encounters)

Interesting start because I literally didn't even get any fusions until after Erika. Everyone here was amazing, but if I had to decide on an mvp it'd have to be magmorcott for pulling off a 3v1 against Agatha after I didn't think for half of the fight.

I played a Nuzlocke run with my sister where she made the fusion and battle decisions, and I piloted the trainer in the overworld. It's my first time finishing an IF run and my first time finishing a Nuzlocke.

Nidoqueen/Bastiodon was the MVP of the run. She was our Toxic staller and our pivot starting around Cerulean City, and she performed both roles beautifully. Hers was the last death of the run, a sacrifice that bought us time to heal our final party member (Togekiss/Magnezone) and secure the victory.

It was such a fun run. Looking forward to the next one. ❤️

Living dex reprise #3 - Fusions of team members from my Colosseum playthrough. Starter was an eevee/eevee that was later unfused for use in the two eeveelution fusions. Heracross/Lycanroc is the easiest mvp call ever, it soloed practically every major battle before the e4 with moxie and then did at least half against the league members I used it for (Can we get a #DoggoSweep in the chat).
Also, the arcanine is shiny.

Finally finished my first play through. This was definitely a fun run, really enjoyed the game. This team that won was something entirely broken, never found myself with a weakness to cover as they all were able to learn any kind of coverage I needed. Their stats are absolutely broken all round definitely recommend. Love the game will definitely be doing a randomized nuzlocke of this in the next coming weeks if the opportunity comes again

they were! all had their own niche going on for them. Ampharos/Talonflame has carried all my runs so far but I was most surprized by Zoroark/Parasect. It has absurd speed and attack stats so it'd outspeed everything, put them to sleep and crit often with scope lense and high crit chanse attacks. absolute banger, would recommend everyone to try it out honestly.

First Expert mode (Hard) I've done; came into the Elite Four with a little bit under leveled pokemon (65ish). Really enjoyed to challenging opponent teams in Expert mode, making me really have to strategize for some of the gym leaders and E4. Each member of the team all had their part, but the all star was Volcapeon (Volcarona/Espeon), who with Magic Bounce and Quiver Dance could set up on virtually any bulky special attacker and sweep with Stored Power. As well as Imposter Ditto messing up the opponent Belly Drum and Swords Dance users.

During my playthrough, I decided to push the fun to the max and make my own (or tweak) the sprites of my team along the way, but because it was mostly for my own enjoyment, they don't really follow the spiriting rules-

I might be wrong but I feel it would be improper to post any of them "officially", at least not in this state. Like I said, I made these sprites for myself a year ago and were not made to be shared publicly, so some of them borrow stuff from other designs or break spritting rules. It is indeed Togekiss/Klinklang. It was kinda just a Sixth member for the defensive steel/fairy typing, but I'm not sure if there's any unique strategy different from the normal Togekiss moves.

This time I did a Dragon-Only run! We powered through a lot of gyms, so it was definitely easier than my bug run. This is the third time I've used Noivern I will admit, but Noivern is just amazing. (As in I love Noivern) I was pretty lucky with good encounters, including my starter, Reshiram/Flareon. There was also less strategy this time, but still a bit. My theme this time around for names was Japanese words! (Spelled out with English letters)

Happens if you talk to the update man and check out his Advanced Settings. Doesn’t harm anything except locking you out of dex completion on that file, don’t worry about it.

I'm no programming expert so maybe there's no other way around it, but I think it's a little silly that merely checking out the advanced settings can lock you out of dex completion.

Likely a flag because you could switch on randomizer, get a bunch of mons early, then turn it off without consequence otherwise

You can New Game + everything you caught into a clean file, they will all be reduced to their base forms though (Genmortar will become a Gasby, etc.) and set to level 5 (and be unable to be unfused until Post-E4)
But it will give you a head start on your dex goal

As a bonus, they’ll also carry over any items you give them! So best to give exp share or other held items you want early!

Playing on Remix instead of Classic, I took the opportunity to deliberately choose a set of fusions that I liked and which weren't type-redundant; it became evident that I have a type.

Because pre-evo sprites don't seem to get as much attention in this channel, and because I enjoyed passing through lovely sprites for my team (and a few unfortunate auto-generated ones) from beginning to end, I put together a couple arrangements for this run and my first.

Decided to do a lil challenge run where I only use my five favorite pokemon (aggron, gardevoir, starmie, aerodactyl and aegislash) and the sinnoh starter triple fusion.

Notably, jirachi/aerodactyl carried me through the elite 4 and cofagrigus/aggron essentially 1v5ed the champion while being 10 levels underleveled, spreading burns and throwing iron heads and double edges

They were lvl 47-52 while the triple fusion was at 42
