Guardian (Umbreon/Metagross) - MVP, was really tanky and only fell against bug-type moves. Strong attacker as well, and stalled the HECK out of physical attackers w/ rocky helmet.
Poker (Ambipom/Haxorus) - Strong with technician + ddance + dual chop + 130+ base attack, but i was too scared to keep him in against fighting-types.
Medieval (Gengar/Aegislash) - died to blue's Milotic/Dragonite, did well as a switch-in to bug types which Guardian was 4x weak to. Also was good at stalling physical attackers.
Shrek (Swampert/Tauros) - destroyed the birds boss, died to milotic/dragonite as well (to heal Guardian lmao).
Saviour (Gardevoir/Rayquaza) - died to a rattata/squirtle sucker punch. no more can be said as i got them on victory road.
Coral (Milotic/Sceptile) - uh. idk. got them after gym 8 so same thing with Saviour ig. Died to a Take Down from Swampert/Slaking.

Noivern/Aurorus carried me through most of the game. Got them both in Mt. Moon's cave. Refrigerate Boomburst is way too powerful. I also got Garchomp/Scizor pretty early on, amazing Pokemon. Swords Dance with Technician Dual Chop and Bullet Punch is fun. Volcarona/Alakazam was great too but I only got them when I reached Victory Road. The other three were kinda underwhelming, so I didn't use them much. I had high hopes for Chandelure/Kingdra but it's just meh

Empoleon/Scizor's been the best one, but other good ones are pretty much any physical attacker with Azumarill, sharpedo's a good source of speed boost, but doesn't have good water STAB. Definitely aim for special attackers other than ways you can be sure to have good physical water stab

I think it’s DemIce’s Endgame Challenge. It was a standalone mod integrated into the game, but later removed in v5.0. The standalone works now (instead of being in by default) and to unlock it, you needed to beat the E4 on the hardest difficulty. It’s just a harder version of the game meant as a challenge for “hardcore” players.

For a speedrun the focus is typically on one main and then you fill out the rest of the team with pokes that can use needed HMs or have utility moves in case things go wrong. The Paras had Spore and the Kirlia was used for teleport. Noibat/Clefable were backup in case I needed to main swap using super splicers.

Since they did what was needed of them without further leveling up they weren't evolved.

The bulk is really good, but what's more useful about it is the drought boosted STAB Sacred fire. And it's a great scarf tier so you can basically outspeed, burn, and do a ton of damage to anything with your dual STABs of Precipice Blades/Sacred Fire which both hit super hard

And since many steel types are flying so you can't hit them with your ground STAB, fire is a great compliment. Conversely there's things like how rock resists fire but steel is super effective

Eclipse - Umbreon/Arcanine: Lead mon and defensive bulwark. Keeping his friends safe with a mix of Intimidate and parting shot but never remaining a passive blob with E.Speed and F.Blitz.
Berry - Sylveon/Lucario: With Calm Mind, Fleur Cannon, Aura Sphere and Flash Cannon, there wasn't a lot that could stop Berry from getting the job done when needed.
Brioche - Jolteon/Aggron: With Rock Head and Autotomize and a trusty life orb, Briohce made light work of his foes with Head Smash and Wild Charge.
Parsley - Leafeon/Garchomp: The physical sweeper of the team with D.Dance, Leaf Blade, Earthquake and Fire Fang. Punched many holes in enemy teams and cleaned up many rough runs.
Nebula - Palkia Furret: Mascot of the team and even though it's not an Eeveelution I make it a point to always take one Furret fusion with me on any journey I go on. With Baton Pass it would pass an Aqua Ring to Brioche to facilitate his Life Orb shenanigans.
