Holy crap this E4 + Champ was HARD. First time through Modern, still on 5.3. Used level caps, no items in battle. Volt Switch Regenerator Reuniclus/Galvantula was cute but didn't really end up pulling its weight. MVPs are definitely Azumarill/Aerodactl and Snorslash. What a game, time to update to v6 and do it all again 🙂

My favorite is Klinkkling/Scizor. Technician + Gear Grind becomes a base 150 damage move. Also, Gear Shift is such a good move for Scizor.

BTW, you can get Technician on your fusion by fusing the opposite direction first, choosing Technician, then using a reverser. The fusion keeps the ability after reversing.

I did not expect my Flareon/Froslass to be as good as they were, but I was disappointed with my Aggron/Tyrantrum due to how surprisingly fragile they were in the special defense department. Tyranitar/Gengar, Chandelure/Whimsicott, and Flareon/Froslass were the main carries. Cradily/Leafon didn't really get a chance to shine at all.

Aggron/Tyrantrum is such an awesome looking fusion for how horribly underwhelming it is, unfortunately. But to be fair that goes for a lot of fusions.

Hardcore randomized nuz with random fusions only and randomized abilities. Tyrantrum/rayquaza with Moxie combined with a mamoswine/magneton phys tank with fluffy and eviolite was simply broken. Only lost one pokemon the whole run to Zapmolcuno.

Earthquake covering 3/4 of tyranquaza's weaknesses and having +2 atk and +1 spd after one KO is just disgusting.

If you want money, you can complete runs at the battle factory/tower.

It rewards 10BP each successful run.
You can exchange 2BP for one Super incubator, which can be sold for 6000 pokedollars each. Netting $30,000 a run.
There may be better ways to get money, but this is the best way that I am aware of.

$30,000 comes out to 20 revives or 10 full restores.

There is no more “default.”
If more than one sprite that can considered a main is submitted, the game randomizes the sprites when you first encounter them.
