The fusions are pretty obvious but for those who're curious: Togekiss/Blastoise, Yanmega/Steelix, Victreebel/Raichu, Pidgeot/Hitmonlee, Arcanine/Nidoqueen & Honchkrow/Snorlax

HoF n.2, assuming postgame HoF counts, same save as previous hof

the whole squad died during the postgame except for togekiss/raichu, who led the team in the first slot against the whole league and was the star of the show in all fights except blue; absolute MVP of the whole run, fairy/electric is a killer combo

glaceon/suicune was honestly pretty disappointing, put in some work against glacia and got lucky against blue's +3 evade ||nidogeot||, died when blue's ||rhyperior/magmortar|| suprised me and outsped; he's still the most gorgeous looking good boy

scizor/rayquaza is probably pretty amazing but i'm bad, so he came in clutch against glacia's final mon, then died when i stupidly got greedy with dragon dances against lance, he never really shined

groudon/volcarona was pretty good, melted most of bruno's team and put in good work against blue, but ultimately fell

giratina/parasect was an excellent staller in the last stretch of the postgame, never found a good opportunity to come in in the e4 rematch, then out of nowhere carried the team to victory against blue, getting us out of a dicey situation

reshiram/venomoth is a fucking menace, 130 base SpA + Sleep Powder + Quiver Dance is godlike (with some luck), swept Agatha and secret final boss, i just love him so much

Porygon2/Gardevoir (Porygon Queen) is dangerously tanky with eviolite, Omastar/Tyranitar (Wah :3) is a pretty nifty mixed attacker (I prioritized special since 4/6 are physical), Hypno/Machamp (Agnuu) is a solid specially bulky physical attacker and carried me alongside Aggron/Flareon as my physically bulky attacker with the defensive profile of Heatran. Great stuff! My suggestion is to remember not to give up too early in challenge runs: IF has around 200 available encounters in a full playthrough (up to Mt. Silver) and is quite lenient to grinding overall, so there should be plenty of room to rebuild. Good luck on future attempts!! 💪

I did Modern Mode this time (my first time doing modern mode too!) and boy it was a difficult start but super fun overall. Slaking/Garchomp is a beast, but that Krookodile/Aerodactyl is a hell of a sweeper with Moxie.

Ladies and gentlemen, run 5/420 is now finished! This was quite the surprise early game, and it had it's challanges. but this was surprisingly fun. The shiny charmander early on was a welcomed edition, and late game it ended up being the hero of the elite 4 and champion fight. This team was a blast to use, but now its time to move on. Charizard, your up next!
