The way I do it is I set it up on my completed save and then start a new game +. Then when I get to Viridian I box the starter and take out the 6 I prepped before and use only them for the whole run. No catching extra mons and no replacing mons.

The main party before the worst deaths had a Raichu/Typhlosion, Slowking/Quagsire, Lanturn/Furret, Doublade/Dragonite, and Azumarill/Talonflame.

The Azu had Huge Power, the Lanturn/Furret healed when hit by electric but was a water/normal type….it was all so great before they died. 😭

Banned splicers’ usage for the Nuzlock so it was fun trying to make whatever I got work

The Haxorus/Feraligatr ended up being my main surviving mon, the only one not to have died from the main original group.

Yeah the feraligator and noctowls are cause a friend loves feraligator and has a lot of owl symbolism in his life. So the charizard noctowl is him, the marowak noctowl is his sister, and the feraligator is his starter from when he used to play pokemon. The other mons are just ones I thought were cool during the run

and the gyarados magneton is staying a gyarados magneton indefinitely because while I could involve it, I do not think gyarados magnezone looks as good imo

most of what i do is just recoloring or adding in bits from pre-existing sprites, not by drawing my own things

Giratina/Gallade: I gave it Gallade's normal hands from Gallade sprite.
Charizard/Torterra: I used the main sprite and changed the orange Charizard color to the Charizard X colored alt, pretty much just the Charizard X colored alt, but with normal Charizard's stomach colors and orange flames.
Ampharos/Gengar: I gave it Gengar's normal hands, removing the blue static around them.

Oh, and I changed Arceus/Gardevoir by changing the eye, removing the yellow on the forehead, and removing the ring on the back.

Run 10 finished! The first big milestone is done! I made this extra challenging by taking a suggestion by @tardy wraith by making all battles I could 2v2 with 0 BST Randomized, along with adding some other stuff like only using pokemon I already owned/given to me and only adding a team member every 2 major battles, the only time I didn't follow this rule was when I found a shiny fusion which I used to make Wizard.install. Also, I take back about what I said about my last team this was one more with no attack stats under 150, wow!

Completed a hardcore nuzlocke of this game on fully randomized settings (Trainers fully randomized, items fully randomized including pickup items and Pokemarts, encounters fully randomized with 500 BST difference)!

Edit: Oh and this run was done on Hard Mode difficulty too!

I'm not gnl, this was a fairly odd run because it always felt like I didn't have the right moves for the gyms I was facing, but I never felt like I was weak for it. MVP for this one is Space Bun for being a set-up machine in most places (I'd have to check but I think it got really high hp and defensive EV/IV because it could take some hits while setting up Nasty Plot and others before baton passing.
