Well, Solgaleo and Lunala are extradimensional aliens. So it's probable that they don't have genders the same way most standard Pokémon do

The moon controlling thing is definitely weird though considering its most supported abilities are consuming light, dimension travel, and maybe FTL speeds

I've seen a lot of debate around if the ultra wormhole minigame can really be considered an FTL feat given the nature of wormholes, but it is still worth noting that the portals encountered further out are further light years away, so I would say the argument has some legs to stand on

I personally imagine it has something to do with Solgaleo producing its own light while Lunala absorbs and repurposes it

Im currently working on a concept for a Pokemon fan game with some friends of mine! Being able to access the pc from anywhere is good so you dont constantly have to run back and fourth to the nearest pokemon centre to take out or deposit pokemon.
Nature mints allow every pokemon even your ingame or shiny ones to be competitvely viable
The new egg move mechanic ince again allows shinies and your favs be able to use moves they need.

Competitive shouldnt be locked behind massively tedious tasks just to get one pokemon ready

Its the actual battling part that makes you a good player not how rng feels when breeding for ivs
