Because the games either don't tell you your IVs or give you some arbitrary string of words to describe your IVs postgame
And they're also not something you can grind out on an old Pokemon in older games, you must breed new ones
Newer games do work towards making them not ass dogshit with Hyper Training
But it's still ass
EVs are like, B+
Mechanically I think they're pretty good
Though in older games a bit annoying to grind
And the fact that the game tells you absolutely nothing about them sucks ass
Natures are A+ tier, and the only reason they aren't S tier is because older games don't have nature mints
The games make it very clear the effect your nature has on your Pokemon

There are people that teach Pokémon moves, then in your pokenav those move you paid for can be relearned
