Trying to get an optimal opinion about this little one here. Doing a randomized nuzlocke Mew-only challenge that I had designed for me. Only wanting to know if this Mew is game-breaking or if it won't carry me through the League.

It isn't game breaking, as terrain isn't the best thing and I'm not sure if Expanding Force exists in that game.

If Expanding Force is in that game, then Psychic Terrain is very good. I think it was introduced later though.

I haven't seen it so I'm unsure myself. So far, the only issue I'm running into is that Mew has limits like any other Mythical. Mew/Mew is my starter fusion, so I can't get rid of it. I'm hoping for this run that I don't end up losing it because I'm relying on it too much.

Cause the sweeping potential this has is why I don't typically worry about losing later on.

It also is outdamaged by a lot

25 SpA is a massive difference

Electabuzz and Electivire are both shit, but a similar thing applies

Rhyperior's Solid Rock is a far better ability than anything Rhydon has, and Rhyperior once again fears Knock Off a lot less

Alright so, Egg Moves are getting replaced in a distant update

With new moves called "Rogue Moves"

From what I can tell, they will have the same concept of being a set of moves the Pokemon doesn't normally learn

However, you can only start with 1, and the rest have to be purchased with pokedollars

AKA: You won't randomly have 400k that you just don't have anything to spend on anymore

From how the announcement for it was phrased, it sounds like there will be more Rogue Moves than there currently are egg moves

I'm currently trying to find out more details on its implementation

May stock up a ton of vouchers

Maybe stock up with a few runs using Eternatus so that I can easily hatch these eggs without worrying about learning the new system, too

Then I can dedicate time into learning the system

I think the new meta would become having strategies based around minimising the amount of money you need to spend to rush the stronger moves

For example, abilities like Pickup can save on money that would be spent on Potions, Full Heals or Ethers since Sitruses, Lums and Leppas are common items it can pick up

And Honey Gather giving passive income will actually be relevant in Classic

They're also removing 1 tier of Cost Down, presumably to make some of the stronger autowin Pokemon less of an autowin

This is a low priority update

Since they still want to implement more items first

And more moves

And try to balance trainers and mystery encounters

And the Biome Rework

Which signature move is worse, Flying Press or Glaciate?

I'd say Glaciate because Flying Press is at least trying to do something interesting even if it fails at it while glaciate is just "icy wind +10 base power" with nothing else

I'd imagine that latter is probably more usable in doubles though since icy wind is a method of speed control but I dunno how much use kyurem even gets in doubles

What I'm thinking is that Glaciate is better than Flying Press

Because at least Glaciate is a slightly harder hitting version of a good move for Doubles

The move's power doesn't matter

Whatsoever

But it is still a strictly better variant of a good move

Flying Press is just dogshit

Hawlucha would rather not use this move in any situation apart from animations
