With Bulky stats and Triage with x2 item stat boost, with drain moveset priority and sleep powder she can sweep and tank and support boosting both pair stats.

belly drum + drain punch + strong stab moves is great
given how much health raid bosses have, move like drain punch can heal you to full
especially after a belly drum first

I realized today that the unova games with their minimal required hm use uses it to show the player how they work and how it is used to access some locaitons or get some things but doesnt force an hm to be used ever 30 seconds so then when the player goes past an optional area that requires an hm it makes the player more incentivsed to go back and explore routes they already went through with newly accessed hms and see what new things they can find that they couldnt find or get to before when they went on the main route

yeah like there were times when id play an older gen for the first time then be abruptly stopped in a location because 1 i didnt know x hm was needed and 2 i needed to figure out where to find and how to get the hm needed vs in like iirc gen 4 or 5 started it where a person in the main story gave the player the hm so that they could have it when they needed it without having to look everywhere for 1 hm just to progress with the main story.

there are actually raids you can do that have fully evolved trade evolutions in them. I had to use my brother's switch and violet game for the version different Pokemon. but if you had two systems in the same room you could trade between them. you need the nintendo online thing in order to do wonder trades and far away trades
but yeah higher star raids are how I got some of the trade evo Pokemon

on the topic of elite 4 members i wish they did it sooner than gen 5 and didnt revert it for gen 9 where you could do the elite 4 in whatever order you wanted. I like going in the order my team handles best vs just fighting everyone in the predetermined order they want me too

thats fair but i sometimes do monotype nuzlockes and if i have a type that an earlier e4 is good against it makes the whole e4 and champ much harder because at any point my counters for later members could just die vs if i get to chose i can do the ones i know i can get past deathless first then deal with the other one after gaining some levels

well yeah duh. 90% of players just play casually. and nuzlockes and other challenges are self imposed rules. so it makes since that a game dev wouldnt assume everyone will be playing with the same optional self imposed rules im just saying how for those people who play with self imposed rules elite 4s where they can chose who to fight when are usually favored because they dont have to spend hours sitting out side the elite 4 planning for the predetermined order because it has an unfavored type lead
