there's a lot good here! Technically the values are nicely shaped and separated. Colors are lovely. That being said the light of the moon doesn't feel as directional as it could. The figure and the contents being lit about the same as the area the moon is shining through the trees. Don't be afraid to set areas of light and dark early in composition. I think that's what would help you the most with this and your recent backgrounds

look into how light reflects off of some animals' eyes -- that's caused by a reflective layer the tapetum lucidum

it improves vision in low light
seeing as how your characters are animals, it could be something of an enhancer for their tapetum lucidum

something about focusing the light and then dispersing it so that its basically night vision
