Honestly a pretty rad way of sketching can be charcoal actually
If you cover the page with some broad charcoal sticks first and then go in with stronger finer ones it's an amazing way to get a feel for blending and you can always smudge it back out
Only downside is you're going to get dirty lmao

Well i was gonna try tossin this into the unclaimed concept thing for a spriter to make if they wanted and iirc you're 'supposed' to use the head mons colors, I just figured I'd have leeway with the flower petals. Tbh I'm not a fan of usin the hot pink on the body but meganium doesn't have much color to use unless you use the flower but I don't think I could get away with usin the flower as an excuse to make the body whatever color I felt like...if that makes sense, but I do think teal in place of the green would make it look much better

i feel like it'd be more of a pet pokemon like furfrou, having the fluffy parts of its fur painted since it loves feeling pretty, though if spoiled to much can become stuck up and selfish, it evolves from female eevee only, sort of thr same mechanic as feebas it can be evolved while holding a prism scale using a rare candy
