you can try I guess. I don't know anybody that did. Bare in mind that RPG Maker XP Projects that use the Pokemon essential thingy as base usually have trouble running in the usual software that run rpg maker games. So don't get your hopes too high. but try anyway

ehm could someone tell me why this happens? I only changed the color of the trainer and I have to make the background transparent. Otherwise there is a white background. Whenever I do a transparent background in Gimp I get this error message. I can close it. The trainer is then how it should be but the message keeps coming back.

Seems to be an old Problem, when I search for some keywords, but there was never a real help..

Game Crashes while it wants to save the Game after beating the Elite4 and the Rivale
When you restart the Game, it'll ask you if you want to save (it just continues where it crashed)
But no matter what you answer, it'll crash again

Game crashes on picking a team after a bug at trainer house

I was about to go down the stairs of the trainer house when suddenly the previous dialogue
(" Welcome to the trainer house....")
reappeared . I pressed back button and went down the stairs anyway . After that , there was nothing happening in the arena. The trainer didnt approached me and I was free to move . I tried talking to the trainer but I can't . I decided to use the debug item to get out of there . After that , every time I need to pick a team for a battle (gym , trainer house) , my game will crash.

@sterile pivot ok I think I figured it out. It seems to be whenever it's the last stone it causes the script to run very slow. I just used a moonstone on an Eevee and it evolved fine I had 2 stones. I then combined it with an eevee. I then used a shiny stone to have the Eevee evolve into Sylveon and it happened again so I think it's the fact of I'm using the last stone

Hi guys, i really enjoyed playing your game, but after i've beaten the Pokemon-League for the first time and went to the hall of fame, my screen turned black, i only could see the speechbubbles of Prof. Oak congratulating me, and after signing me in the hall of Fame (which was visible again) and asking me to save the game, my screen turned black again. I have a problem... while I was farming trainer points to try to get one of the starter egg, I accidentally talked a second time to the pnj for trainer battle (I think because I was spamming the "A" button, but I didn't know that was possible.) I declined her second offer, and I then got stuck in the room where you normally fight.

Since I wasn't able to get out of here, I used the debugger to get out of the room... but, when I was back in the pokemon center, I only had the 3 mons I selected, without the other mons that I didn't selected for the fight.

And, when I tried to do the trainer house again, I have this :

So, I seem to be getting the, RGSS player has stopped working, error when I try to launch the game, I have restarted my computer, launched multiple times as admin and normal, fully deleted the files and re extracted them, and even wen t so far as to download from the other source, I tried to follow the youtube video on fixing it, but it seems my copy of windows has decided I cant edit that, any suggestions out there that might help?

I would guess that's a performance problem, try to run the game on a smaller window size or close some of your other stuff that uses your CPU

nevermind :4.: The game crashes on startup after briefly showing a black screen: Add the game as an exception to the Data Execution Prevention - DEP:

Open Start Menu or Control Panel. Search for 'Advanced System Settings'. It can also be found under 'System' in the Control Panel. A new window should have opened, press the tab on the top that says 'Advanced'. The first option should say 'Performance', click 'Settings'. This should open another new window, click the tab at the top of this new window that says 'Data Execution Prevention'. You should see an option named 'Add...' below a large box. Click it, then navigate to the Infinite Fusion folder, once inside single click on the application that begins the game (Game.exe), then press open. Press apply or OK at the bottom of the window, and restart/start up the game.

Uh I just put the entire patch file into the folder, not in either graphics or data, and i was able to go up the ladder, but the right half of the screen/area was covered in grey. Was i supposed to extract all on the patch file and then put it in the folder of infinite fusion?

you do have to rename them. The filenames they come with are so you can tell what old file you should get rid of.

Hi, my friend's trying to play the game, but his sound drivers are busted, and basically the computer thinks they don't exist, even if he reinstalls, etc. He needs to get a new computer; that's not what this is about.

Then the only thing that might help is making sure, that no other program is using your CPU while playing the game
Or maybe turn off antivirus/windows defender for a while

I just tried to turn on the game for the first time, and my screen is black but I hear music playing. I don't have anything I can press, and it's not like something is in the background because I don't hear buttons being pressed or options being selected.

you might have a backup somewhere. maybe The Frogman could tell you where. I think he made a backup script a while back into the game in case of issues like that. The first spot I would search for it would be in the default save folder

Yeah your internet connection shouldn't matter at all for unzipping stuff. only your processor speed should matter (and where you are extracting it. as the maximum writing speed can vary depending on the hard drive. It should be quicker on a ssd than a usb 2.0 external hard drive as an example). if you had other applications running they may be in competition to use the processor too and maybe it slow down the unzipping

Another possible reason (I guess) could be that the computer calculate the speed wrong and therefore predict the wrong time and get truer result as the extracting happen. I don't know how they calculate the time so it's hard to tell.

It probably calculates based on current extracting speed, mb/s or similar. Cause anything else like files/s wouldn't make much sense

And because dealing with many small files takes longer than one big file (taking the same space on a hard drive) the prediction becomes wrong

I suggest (1) Updating Wine. I've heard people have much better performance after updating. (2) deleting and redownloading the game. Something may have gotten lost in the download.

yes. Wine is a software allowing to run .exe file in some capacity. it's not an emulator as it doesn't run a copy of windows to run the thing but it does try to interpret the .exe the best it can

If the number of pokemon didn't change between the last version you use and the new one it's seamless. the save folder is not in the game folder so it will just use the same save and work.
If the number of pokemon change then when the game will try to open your save it mask ask you a few question and it will try to convert your file (hopefully it will work for you. it might not. you should backup your save just in case before attempting that).

i had that issue with a flygon/swampert issue in randomizer, a trainer had a flygon/swampert but it looked like a flygon/blaziken but it used muddy water

Fairly basic question, but just getting started in this and I've gotten to the point where you get things like the bike and old rod: What's the keybind for using the registered key item? (I found the F1 menu that appears to be able to change things but it looks like it's in Japanese or something, so assume stock settings on 4.6.)

It's not even an issue with sprites, it's an issue that Raicune is treated as a murkrow/swinub fusion. I caught it and defused it and then got a murkrow and a swinub. Fortunately I didn't save after catching the messed up raicune, but something's wrong with it and I don't know how to fix it.

The problem is probably because you triggered the raicune event before updating. Someone else had the same issue a while ago and got the suinub / murkrow fusion too

Has anyone else had issues with the game freezing on startup at the game version screen? I've done the Control Panel => Data Execution thingy but it didn't change anything. Might be of note that I'm trying to run the game on an old-ish win 7 laptop. Works just fine on my win 10 (much faster) desktop

everything works not considering the new contenent from Baras postgame mod. With debug i wento to the battle tower and the tournament with the other champion crashes the game too

@paper wigeon Run the .exe file either by going to "Applications," then "Wine" followed by the "Programs menu," where you should be able to click on the file. Or open a terminal window and at the files directory,type "Wine filename.exe" where "filename.exe" is the name of the file you want to launch.

Hi, i cant find my save files. I know it should be at user/myname/saved games but i dont have this folder. Ive checked the default user aswell, there is a saved games folder, but its empty. In the game.ini is the title still Pokémon Infinite Fusion. Ive checked my whole pc already but i cant find them. Anybody an idea?

apparently if I goes on the property of my Saved Games folder I have the opportunity to change it's loation. maybe you did that once upon a time and it's no longer in the user folder
