Mefys, to open the game in RPG Maker you need first to find a copy of "pokemon essentials" (good luck with that). Then copy the files from the game folder to this pokemon essentials folder you got (to ovveride the files with the game ones).
Then you should be able to open the game in the software. I recomand chosing a different title. there is a button in the software to do that (like: a title like SaveDebug or something) because the title is used to create the folder were your save goes. You don't want to override the real one just in case you messed up. Then, you copy your save and put it in the new save folder that match your debug version. Then you run the game (green arrow in the software). Then you open the menu, use the warp option and chose the map your want to go (I recomand the last city you were at or the last route). (to navigate quickly in the list you can use the button that correspond to your page up and page down in your controls). Once the teleportation is done, save.
Then you can copy the save file with the new position and past it instead of the old one in the real game folder.
That's a lot of step I know >.>

Bare in mind that it will just allow to do little change like that (change your character position. maybe edit some map by adding a npc or something). But you won't be able to play normaly a full game through the software since we don't have all the nescessary file to recompile the game fully. So, don't think you can clone the all game like that and add your stuff 😉 The idea is to only use rpg maker for debuging your save but use the real game to play

@cerulean arch I'm playing on ubuntu 16.X and it works perfectly. You just need to install a different unzip tools cause the unzip from Ubuntu doesnt works well with the ziped files from the download of pkm infinite fusion. Install play on Linux and open the .exe with wine (right-click/ open with /wine program)

There is no way to stop it from pausing, but you can probably make windows force it to the foreground.

Actually, that doesn't work either I think. Maybe forcing window focus, or whatever that would be called. But that seems like it would cause some issues as well

That's just the patch kaiivee. Using that will either not work or break your game if you install it over an old version, that is not 4.5

Hi, stupid question. I got Yanma from a trade and wanted to get it to Yanmega and fuse it with Alakazam. As I also needed to lvl up Phanpy, I fused them. 19 levels later, I realize that the "no unfuse for traded pokémon" also includes pokémon that weren't fused during the trade. And I didn't know that. And I feel stupid. Is there any "please undo I feel stupid please help me" way to unfuse them ?

The only way to see the amount of Johto badges you have is from the number by saving, up to 16.

The sprites are automatically generated, so there's no way to fix the regular sprites..if you want them more centered you gotta do it yourself or ask if someone wants to make a custom Sprite for it

thats why its advised to save inside pokecenters before updating the game. Try talking to the man in black upstairs in the pokecenter and choose fix game. if that doesnt work try using the debug tool in the key items.

My game just crashed when I went up the ladder in the Celadon sewers and somehow talked to Erika Once her speech box disapears this error appears. Then the game crashes and whenever the save file is loaded the same thing happens. now my game is soft locked and I really don't want to have to start over. Any help would be appreciated.

maybe you are missing some tiles in your graphic folder. maybe try to re-extract the full graphic folder from the latest version and the patch (if there is a graphic folder in the patch. You can keep your custom battler folder though. no need to replace that)

When applying the patches afterwards, do I just dump the data folder from the 4.5 hotfix into the 4.5 folder, and then do the 4.5.1 patch?
Or is there a specific way I have to do it?

Any order you have in your window explorer is personal to you. It doesn't actually change anything in the order your files are stored in your memory. And the game only search for specific file name in a specific folder. It doesn't mater if it's the 1000th file to show in your window or the 1rst. The filename is the same so it find it

Oh yeah, side note, I'm fairly certain I have the laptop for this as it's not decided to enter jet-engine mode, so I think it's not a hardware issue
And even if it was it'd still be a bit odd as it's progressively getting worse
At the moment it's basically unplayable at like, 6 FPS, it suddenly goes back up to 60 once you enter a battle.

you could try doing this, not sure if it does much but i guess it's worth a try
Open Task Manager. Click the "Processes" (or Details on Win10 iirc) tab, then right-click the program you want to change the CPU core usage on and click "Set Affinity" from the popup menu. Check the box next to "CPU 0" or "CPU 1" to assign only that CPU core to that program.
choose the last cpu core on the list, that one should usually be free of any load

I don't think I messed up while patching but it's possible. The fusions work just fine for everything past 315

Oh, and I haven't patched the game at all, so it's on... 4.5? I think? I checked the patch notes of the latest patch and they mention nothing about this.

I checked the task manager whilst the game is running and it only uses 40-41% of my CPU, so it shouldn't be a hardware issue.

@ashen cape The default location of your save file is not in the game folder. it's on C:/users/%username%/Saved Games under the infinit fusion folder. (that's the default behavior for RPG Maker Xp games.)

I haven't heard anything conclusive about custom pokémon showdown servers, but if there's a way to battle with fusions that will probably be it. Servers cost money, and money is an easy way to attract the baleful gaze of nintendo.

Search for Advanced System Settings.

Click the only result, be sure to click the one with a shield next to it, and not just System.

A new window should have opened, press the tab on the top that says Advanced.

The first option should say Performance, click Settings.

This should open another new window, click the tab at the top of this new window that says Data Execution Prevention.

You should see an option named Add... below a large box.

Click it, then navigate to the Infinite Fusion folder, once inside single click on the application that begins the game, then press open.

Press apply or OK at the bottom of the window, and restart/start up the game.

If it doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

Can I have help installing this game please? I can't get it to work, I've tried installing an old version of the game, and then patching it with a newer version. I've tried just playing the older version and it doesn't open. I've tried what feels like to be everything I can do, and spent hrs looking it up, and it either doesn't boot up, or fails to patch do to memory issues etc. I'm on android trying to get it to work with MyBoy.

It's an .exe file, so Macs mostly can't touch it. Some people run it successfully on WINE (if it doesn't work or runs slow, update WINE)
