In addition to what Adonis said, we don't support mods and editing in debug in large part because when you run into issues we can't really pinpoint if it was because of code editing or something legit. How does this apply to Joiplay cheats?

Git has locked your game folder from installing/updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. Screenshot below shows how to see that.
3. Open the .git folder you will see in your folder now
4. Delete the file named shallow.lock
5. Update Again by double clicking on INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat or using the Launcher to Install/Update

Hey! So, this is weird, but my fusions icons are visible again.
Actually, it's really weird. I'm on Newmoon Island, and when I tried to go back (to the forest with the "moon" on the ground), the game crashed. It couldn't find "ShallowWater.png". I copied and pasted it from "Autotiles" to "ExpandedAutotiles," but that didn't work. So I copied it into "Graphics" as well, and now not only does the game no longer crash, but my icons are back !

I haven't done anything else, so either it's a coincidence, or it's the solution, at least one solution, for the invisible fusions icons.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, use the preloaded version in #downloads (Windows Only)!

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall using the preloaded files in #downloads .
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF
   Note: If you are on Expert Mode, you can go to the help man and switch back to Classic rather than turning off random trainers.

Ok bug report won't let me post to report this but I left the game open for a bit and apparently I was on a tile where a mushroom grows in vermilion forest and instead of moving me to the side it grew under me and I was trapped in place unable to move and forced to resort to the debug item.

Hello! I'm having a bit of issues with regular pokemon sprites. So I downloaded the game as per the guide on my phones hotspot. That may be the issue? The game ran like normal, but the next day I opened it, all regular pokemon sprites are replaced with white circles with a question mark. Pokemon I've seen before have been saved and are shown like normal.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, use the preloaded version in #downloads (Windows Only)!

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall using the preloaded files in #downloads .
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

Hi, I have been having an issue where the game is unable to save, Anytime I try to start the game and try to turn on auto-saves I get an error message and the game crashes, then when I play without auto-saves it still comes up with the same crash and error message when I save. The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

We don't. That's completely on Joiplay and it's why we added something to disable them that should have been in your files yet isn't. We don't like telling people it voids support but as Shiyaa told you, you get to keep your progress you just need to reinstall the files (and as I just said you'll never be able to forget you can't use it in the future as something was added as a failsafe)

Please don't be rude, Shiyaa was nothing but polite and it should really go without saying you should treat others the way you want to be treated. Let's not forget this is a Pokémon game as well. It's not that serious.

I just came back to Fusion for the first time in a while, and I don't remember it taking this long to download sprites. I see in the pins there's a cooldown, but is it normal for the game to need 10ish seconds every time I cycle to a new fusion sprite option in the pokedex?

The rate at which sprites download depends on your internet. It could be trying to download several sprites at once as well

I mean, based on what I see in my CustomBattlers directory it does appear that downloading a new fusion sprite means downloading an entire sprite sheet, but even so a sprite sheet is half a megabyte. A speedtest tells me I should be able to grab dozens of those a second. Is every sprite in the sheet being downloaded individually and each one incurs the cooldown? And the game won't respond until the sprite sheet is complete even though I only need one fusion from that sheet?

We don't have the exact number of sprites users are able to download at a time before the cap stops them, only the dev knows. You could maybe try talking to the Help Man in any Pokemon center and asking him to clear your sprite cache? That might help clear out the old sprites that the game is trying to replace so it can just download them fresh

I have an old version of the game (6.1.2) on my android samsung phone. If I want to update do I have to delete joiplay and my current game version and reinstall everything? Or can I can keep the old version and install the new one to a seperate folder? Can I keep old saves? Trying to decide if its worth it to update.

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs).

• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Move your save files as it will delete those when you delete your game files. You only have to delete the InfiniteFusion folder and download it again from here, you dont have to delete or reinstall Joiplay or RPGMaker

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.
3. Size: Sprite must be 288x288

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

So, all of the sprites are the strange mishmashes and not the custom art ones, it's been forever since i've played this game and recently redownloaded it. It said it automatically downloaded the sprite files but I don't think they're showing up.

To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Note both of these simply swap one encounter for another, there is no true randomness like you may find from a cheat code on a DS Emulation.

So even after completely offloading the files the same error message popped up a few more times, the issue was that it was routing through my favorites into downloads instead of just going straight into downloads, after manually fixing it during extraction it worked

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
