but to give you the skinny, it is your device struggling a bit when the game tries to contact the repo to pull the sprite for said fusion

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Because the way I did it was Tier 2 rematch: no money, I assumed because it wasn't my highest tier so I did Tier 3 and got money. Then I went to do Tier 3 again right away, that time I again got no money.

If you’re on Bazzite and the game works on desktop but crashes in Steam Game Mode with a missing audio file error like this:

No such file or directory - Audio/BGM/Pokemon Red-Blue Opening

Here’s the fix.
The Problem
Steam Game Mode sets LC_ALL=C (a basic ASCII locale). This breaks Wine’s file name lookup even though the file is sitting right there on disk. It’s not a missing file — it’s a locale issue.
The Fix
Install Bottles via Flatpak and set up the game normally following the official Linux guide. Then create a launch script:

You have to import the fusion as the opposite. Save the sprite off the calcs site. It'll automatically populate the number, you want to switch those numbers (Example 134.135 would become 135.134) and then save it to Sprites to Import

Actually you should never download the full sprite pack and import them (Like all custom sprites from year 1 of PIF-present). If your game will not download them you should download the game with preloaded and then turn Download Data off

Future, smaller packs can be imported but you should never both import and use download data

I personally would simply delete the game and reinstall with preloaded. Any saves you have won't be messed with
