If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

This error is usually caused by your Internet Service Provider corrupting a file, possibly due to outages. To fix:

1. Delete the file DownloadedSettings.rb located in \InfiniteFusion\Data\Scripts

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.

Was doing a game last night in randomized mode and found out about expert mode and decided to test it out. Ended up crashing later against a trainer and preliminary research seems to indicate that expert mode does not work with randomized trainers. Just wanted to see if anyone could confirm this is the case?

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

This game does not work while inside a OneDrive folder. If you see a status column in your game folder or your filepath has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause you several issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Attempt to run the game. If your problem is fixed, you do not need to do anything else. If your problem is not fixed or new problems arise, continue to step 3.
3. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below tp show hidden folders if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock and index.lock
   4.. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

So even with the internet off it wasn't working for the first three times i launched the game but on the fourth time i launched it after a black screen it finally loaded, and i was able to play it, but it still froze on encouters and trainer battles. it still refuses to load while connected to the inter running the pre-loaded install verison

To fix crashes on specific trainers in legendary mode:

1. Leave the area (if in a building, go outside)
2. In the Game Options, toggle trainers from classic to remix (or vice versa)
3. Go back to that trainer and try again.
4. After the battle, you may change the trainers back to their original setting.

Hello, I noticed something, after the game was updated a couple of weeks ago, my previously fused Pokémon no longer display the split party icons (head + body) and instead only show the head Pokémon model. New fusions work normally, and unfusing/refusing don’t fix the old ones.

Hey @edgy jacinth! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs).
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Since updating to the latest version on Android, I am unable to correctly configure my bluetooth controller. None of the inputs are taking in JoiPlay - do I need to update that software too?

Joiplay on Android has always had issues with controller inputs. You bind them, hit save, leave the menu, and it doesn't work, just goes back to whatever it was before you changed them.
