triples only have 1 sprite in game. if you want a different one you need to swap it out manually.

you kinda messed up your game with this big-time.
delete it all and reinstall. you're save will be fine (if you are on windows)

that is where they are meant to be; as the downloads folder generally has the most permission and is free of stuff like onedrive or cloud sync

as to the other error, that's not one i'm familiar with

but, try playing the game while the files remain in the downloads folder [if you have a shortcut made, you'll need to make a new one since it is trying to access something that has been moved]

if the problems persist then I would recommend deleting your current InfiniteFusion folder and grabbing the Preloaded download to see if the issue is based on your game files...or your pc

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, use the preloaded version in #downloads (Windows Only)!

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

Git has locked your game folder from installing/updating. To fix:

3. Open the .git folder you will see in your folder now

The new, updated, folder that you just installed and your old folder that you were originally playing on. The save will not automatically transfer, you have to manually move the File A.rxdata from the old folder to the new folder

So i know it says it doesn't work on the newer joiplay apps, but it actually does work with joiplay 1.21.000 and rpgmaker 1.22.00. So now I have to ask, does anyone use the newer updated app version? If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Hey @mellow bramble! Black screen in this game is the loading screen. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer and YOUR internet.

• If you get the message below while opening the game, this means to stop clicking/pressing buttons on the screen as it is loading.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata
