The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

Hey y'all, i think i found a bug while doing the Pinkan Island and Diamond Necklace quests

I completed Pinkan Island quest, and obtained the Diamond. I flew back to Knot Island and fished up the last Pearl i needed, and sold a nugget to get the rest of the money. Upon asking the lady to make the necklace, she says I do not have all the materials. I looked in every pocket of the bag, and the Diamond is gone. I can't go back to Pinkan Island to check either. I looked in the bug report channel and there was no mention of this.

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

if you ran the updater for some reason, sprites will have been reset. and you would need to reset the cache.

Hey y’all, this is obviously low priority cause I can roll with it but I frequently do randomized runs and I always randomize the gym types too, but in the most recent version it seems like the gym trainers/leader aren’t actually following the gym typing. For example, I just beat misty (who this run was a poison gym), but some Pokémon examples I faced in the gym were Pidgeot/paras, Persian/Trevanant, Swampert/Mewtwo, and Togekiss/Magneton. Not a poison Pokémon in sight near as I can tell lol

Hey @median urchin! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

THese files come loaded with spritesheets. While playing, the game pulls these sprites in the sheets from the sprite repo as you encounter them in the game.

the game has changed so that you don't download the fusion sprites when you download the game, if you have connection to internet then the game will grab sprites as you see them, so that the NEXT time you see them, they will be there

no the sprites are just not present at all

that is due to the game cacheing them to download,

it only gives me the option for the autogenerated sprites and a handful of custom ones

I feel absolutely stupid....

I am so sorry for wasting all of your time but I think i found the fix

the game can download up to X amount of sprites per Y time, (im using letters here because only the Dev knows the exact sprites that you can download per minute

I just looked at the pinned messages and it had the fix right there. I went talked to the suited man in the pokecenter and manually downloaded all the sprites
