If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
4. Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

Hi, is there a requirement for duping a Pokemon thanks to Nincada ? I tried two times in a row and that worked only once, is this normal ?

Just to be sure, I had two Nincada/Nincada fusions on my team with two slots free in my team, one that evolved in a Ninjask/Nincada and a Shedinja/Nincada and the second one, immediatly after evolved into a Ninjask/Nincada only. The second time, believing it doesn't working was due to evolving two Pokémon in a row, I evolved a single Nincada/Nincada with only my main as other Pokémon on the team but it only evolved in Ninjask/Nincada without Shedinja.
Is it because that duping only works one time a day or did I do something wrong ?

To dupe Pokemon, all you need is one Nincada, one normal red Pokeball, and an empty slot in your party. Nincadas are easy to obtain in both Classic and Remix. In #ask-a-bot you can ask "How to get Nincada"

Steps:

1. Fuse the Pokemon you want to dupe with a Nincada. This will work with any Pokemon, including legendaries, mythicals, etc.
2. Level up the fusion to any evolution level. Nincada evolves at lvl. 20. Make sure you have a red Pokeball and an empty slot in your party.

• Note: Any evolution will work, meaning if the other half evolves under 20 (e.g Kakuna, the dupe will also work and you will end up with two Beedrills.)

3. The fusion will now split: you'll have a Ninjask and, in the empty space you had, you'll now have a Shedinja. Both will be fused with the Pokemon you're duping.

IVs ,EVs, and Natures will also carry onto both the new fusions and will have the exact same values.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

This is because they’re trying to use performance mode but game-performance was renamed to InfiniteFusion-performance. The fix is either don’t use performance mode unless absolutely necessary or to change the exe name in the files.

I’m playing with randomizer on, but none of the gym leaders have Pokémon that match their random type, or any type at all. REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

Is there a way to increase the frequency of auto-saves? A couple times now I've accidentally bumped the wrong button and it has reset the game losing hours of progress. There's a lot of nostalgia for things from the handheld generations, but not for this. Also being able to reset the game with one button press is a wild choice. Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.

The bindings might not be intuitive to you (for example - A is NOT accept), it uses a very outdated controller format.

I installed it without the guide, back in the day. The only thing that’s different for me is that I don’t have PIFAndroidPlugins downloaded. However, I wouldn’t think that’s a problem, since it has been working fine so far.
