How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet. The spritepacks are also NOT meant to be imported on Android devices!

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

So I have just encountered two big bugs.

1. I managed to clone a pokemon, by putting it in a party full of eggs, cathich a wild pokemon and replacing it with the current one in the party. The caught pokemon, including the chosen pokemon, will be sent to the box. A copy of the chosen pokemon will appear in your party.
2. using the Infinite Splicer (not upgraded) in your party (without opening the box), will make the Infinite Splicer dissapear, as if it were a regular splicer.

6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.

Friend of Pine Druid here, the fix we found was removing the script folder and manually running the git commands within the update batch file, putting this here in case anybody else has the same issue (the only reason for manually updating was out of concern that the batch file wasn't running properly)

Alrighty so, just to be clear sprite managers cannot help with this at all. They are are more server driven, helping out with the art process within discord (like guidelines, rules, etc) and sorting sprites. I'm the only one that really does anything with the files, and file management. However with that said, I can only do so much on my end without it become a technical issue that is deeper than I can go. At best I can check up on these sprites within the game files and credit sheet, and these are looking fine on my end. It seems to be a game issue, almost like needing to clearing the sprite cache and waiting for it to come back after a bit

I can see the sprites sheets in the appropriate folders, and have confirmed that the specific fusions that are missing in-game are present on the sheets.

I have confirmed, with the Larvitar sprite sheet specifically, that at least one other fusion sprite on the sheet works in-game. Larvitar/Gible is fine, Larvitar/Gabite is not.

So the “fix” for the altdownload was for me to take the updated credits sheet from the full pack and put it in the altdownload files. I have zero control over what is and isn’t in the lightweight installer files, that’s entirely managed by frog. This file should be getting automatically downloaded when a new pack is released but for some reason it’s not. Hence the I’m blaming frog
