ok question from someone who is bad at computer stuff and is doing my best to not be dumb. haven't played the game in a few years, and saw that to update it i needed to do a fresh install/download a launcher. So I have done that, but it appears I am missing a few sprites? not a lot, just like one or two that should be here, but it does seem I also have some new sprites. Should i follow the steps to install and add the full sprite pack, or should i just wait for them to finish downloading or something? (the pinned message says "----- the game can only download a limited number of sprites per time unit while playing before going on cooldown, you simply hit the maximum for now." and i didn't know if thats what was happening?)

Description of Issue + Steps to Reproduce: I took a pokemon (sylveon + spiritomb) recently unfused and refused to the move relearner in both Lavendar Town and Celedon City. When selecting my pokemon my game would crash and give the shown error.
What you were doing in game when the issue arose: Trying to teach my pokemon a new move. It happens to any of my pokemon, in any city.

2. Double click SaveFile

5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

I have had issues with the Launcher, personally, after updating. When I switched to the Lightweight Installer, things worked fine. I would recommend trying the Lightweight Installer.

Yes, absolutely. The game itself is identical, as are the saves tied to it - it's just a matter of how it's launched, from my understanding.

I am merely making inferences from my layman's perspective.

But my saves were intact when I switched from the Launcher to the Lightweight Installer.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

Ok so I was having an issue with randomized wild pokemon not being fusions despite having the always fuse option turned on. After troubleshooting for a while, I discovered that turning off randomize static encounters also causes wild pokemon to be unfused. Turning randomize static encounters back on fixed the issue and let wild pokemon be fused again.

You have four options

• Sign out of OneDrive (Not recommended as whenever you boot up the computer it'll sign back in)

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon. If you have more options, reshuffle each.

Here's a new problem I'm having. Randomized fuse everything run, I have "Shuffle Gym Types" turned OFF, but still none of the leaders are using their correct types. I've played plenty of runs before where this wasn't a problem.

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
4. Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

close the program, delete the folder for the launcher [which has the game files], delete the zip if you still have it [even from your recycle bin] restart your pc, and redownload following the launcher guide

open the settings, reset the config then install the game

Recently my game has been crashing and not loading at all when I try launching it, I downloaded another version and went to the version before the latest but when I updated it, it shows this and then crashes and just goes away immediately, my launcher also hasn't been working with that and doing the same thing whenever I click play? what should I do?
