If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it seems odd enough to ask about: upon unfusing two of my Pokemon, only one has a gender. I'm pretty sure Mankeys normally have a gender.

Alright. I've got a normal problem. I hope you will all be patient with me.
I'm using the F1 key to try to modify my controller inputs, so I can change the controls to be comfortable for me and the controller I use. Essentially I want to swap what two of the face buttons do.
I... Can't. I have cleared out the buttons, and when pressing them when prompted by the help to so so- that is, after clicking on a slot- I can't add the face buttons. Reset defaults works! And the controls work on the default settings. But I can't set anything except the default settings.
...the D-Pad, the control sticks, and the back triggers work. The front triggers, select/pause buttons, and face buttons do nor work.
Maybe it's because this is an older controller?
If anyone has any advice to share, I'd appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Hey, so, looking for some help. I've been trying to play this game again recently. And every time I go to try I would stay on the menu screen for a minute to see the random fusions. And after like maybe 5 successful fusions, instead of showing the Pokémon's sprite, it just showed a white circle with a gray question mark in it. And multiple times I've tried updating, or plain reinstalling the game (from the discord, always) and it still does the same thing. I also noticed that when the question marks went away and showed the fused Pokémon, it was never a custom sprite, it was a default one. As well as when I went back into my old saves all my fused Pokémon I had before were just default. So, it seems like the game is just missing a ton of the sprites it needs maybe? I've had this happen a few times and just given up in the end and gone "Welp, guess im not playing this." But, I really would like to again. And I tried today with the new setup guide, the normal download, and the launcher, and nothing works. Sorry to bother anyone, but just looking for a fix of some sort?

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.

I started a new game and picked Teddiursa as my starter. Then I caught a Shinx, won a battle and the Shinx was left on 1 HP. I fused my Teddiursa and Shinx, and now I have the fusion (which is fainted) and the original Shinx. Windows, i started the game before it tried to load any sprite and sure it worked, but any time it tries to load a sprite like choosing the starter it would freeze for 30seconds before loading it. Seems a bit slow for a 64x64 sprite.

Hey @fringe ridge! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.
